"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16)
Reproof is not judging the proof is in this word that you used
Correction is not judging instruction in righteousness is not judging so here is some instruction for you

1
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. 3And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? 4Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 5But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God.
12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Yep we have a judge and it is no one on cc!!!!!

Maybe you can learn from your own Scripture given ... because you just judged me. LOL !!

Please think before you post!

My skin is pretty thick since I have been trashed on cc several times for pointing out clear error, and it makes for a bad day when that happens, I find it's not amusing at all some of the things our brothers or sisters say on this site.

I was taught to remove the emotion and the self thinking to every situation and apply the word. Took a while but it works better than getting bashed in the head by a family member. The word is fair people are unfair yet striving. I'd rather take my chances with the word than to take the words of some of my family members!!

I believe you need to learn how to post with humility instead of being sarcastic. It will go a long way in preventing others from bashing you.

The Teachings of Joyce Meyer

Article ID: DM472 | By: CRI Statement

Joyce Meyer is a popular Pentecostal preacher living outside of St. Louis, MO, who has been in fulltime ministry since 1980. She is a best-selling author in the Christian market, and her books cover everything from America’s Christian heritage to weight-loss. But she is perhaps best known from her radio and television program, Life in the Word, both of which are broadcast nationally and internationally.

Meyer shares the platform from time to time with Word of Faith teachers like, for example, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Benny Hinn, and T.D. Jakes. CRI is critical of and concerned with some of her practices and teachings.

In her 1991 booklet, The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make, she teaches a hallmark doctrine of Faith theology, namely, that Christ had to suffer in hell to atone for our sins and be born again:

During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin….He paid the price there.…no plan was too extreme…Jesus paid on the cross and in hell….God rose up from His throne and said to demon powers tormenting the sinless Son of God, “Let Him go.” Then the resurrection power of Almighty God went through hell and filled Jesus….He was resurrected from the dead ¾ the first born-again man.

Her assertions are not unlike those of leading Word of Faith proponent Kenneth Copeland, who also believes Christ’s death on the cross was not sufficient to atone for our sins, and that His work of redemption was completed by suffering in hell and being born again. According to Copeland, When Jesus cried, “It is finished!” He was not speaking of the plan of redemption. There were still three days and nights to go through before He went to the throne….Jesus’ death on the cross was only the beginning of the complete work of redemption.

[The] word of the living God went down into the pit of destruction and charged the spirit of Jesus with resurrection power! Suddenly His twisted, death-wracked spirit began to fill out and come back to life. He began to look like something the devil had never seen before. He was literally being reborn before the devil’s very eyes. He began to flex His spiritual muscles….Jesus was born again ¾ the first-born from the dead.

According to a recently published interview with free-lance writer Ken Walker, however, Meyer contradictorily denies ever believing or teaching that Christ was born again in hell.

Moreover, in her 1991 booklet, Meyer asserts that salvation is impossible without believing Jesus suffered in hell as the believer’s substitute. Meyer writes, “There is no hope of anyone going to heaven unless they believe this truth I am presenting. You cannot go to heaven unless you believe with all your heart that Jesus took your place in hell."

While historic Christianity has debated the issue of whether or not Jesus actually descended into hell (e.g., to proclaim the gospel, declare victory, etc. [1 Peter 3:18-19]), no orthodox believer ever held to the belief that Christ suffered and atoned for our sins in hell, rather than on the cross. Yet, Word of Faith teachers, including Joyce Meyer, teach the necessity of Jesus having to pay for our sins in hell, under the torment of Satan and his angels ¾ a teaching both unsubstantiated by and contrary to Scripture.

The entirety of Christ’s atoning work (i.e., His suffering and death in our place) occurred on the cross (e.g., 1 Peter 2:24), ending with His proclamation, “It is finished” (John 19:30). The Christ of Faith theology literally had to become sin, taking on the nature of Satan while in hell, thereby needing to be born again in hell before His resurrection could occur.

Your beliefs are your own, no sarcasm how I speak is how I speak no sarcasm, I can throw rocks with the best of them I just choose not to no sarcasm. But make no mistake I am not a weak Christian and I walk this everyday. I refuse to get bashed that's just it. People are going to do as they please this site has given classic examples of that. But you cant say whatever you want and never expect to get a response.
And if you don't like the response consider that before you post that is always my position. No where has biscut been judged or attacked by pastac clearly did as you did made my points. Hey biscut got a question are you posting with humility? That's a new one don't quite know how to absorb that I believe that my words are sincere and truthful not hurtful and reckless.

Many articles are misleading to say the least and even though reported as controversial by some, me I'd rather talky to Joyce myself hear it with my own ears before making any statements or reposting any article or speaking against her or any of my other co laborers. But that's just how I was taught.

So did Joyce Meyer say this in her book or not? CRI quoted these statements from her book:

"During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin….He paid the price there.…no plan was too extreme…Jesus paid on the cross and in hell….God rose up from His throne and said to demon powers tormenting the sinless Son of God, “Let Him go.” Then the resurrection power of Almighty God went through hell and filled Jesus….He was resurrected from the dead ¾ the first born-again man."

Do you have a copy of her book?

What if everyone who thought someone on here was a false teacher made a thread about them, boy we'd have to have a dedicated section! Lol

And don't hide behind the 'exposing darkness' scripture, look at all the 'exposing' being done in the related threads on the bottom of the page!

As we condemn other people for their sins do we condemn the person or their sin? Not that we have any right to do that but just a thought. We are human we are a very judgemental creation. We tend to jump before we look then land on our face. We are not to judge the person but the sin or the teaching. And we are to do it with the love of Christ. Now also understand I am so guilty of this I do have a tendency to jump but God through the Holy Spirit is teaching me to slow down. (Which is good because my face really really hurts lol).

My mom was one of the least judgemental people I have ever known. One day while talking with her she said she didn't like the particular teaching of a certain person. Her and I spent that day on the computer looking up certain authors and teachers. We found a lot of contradictory teaching and false teaching coming from these people.

She said something I'll never forget "though their teaching is false God can work in ways we don't understand". I know she is right. Some people can listen and read their books and find Christ....me I can't but that's just me.

Though we may not like these teachers we must not condemn them but pray for them. I try not to judge people but I will not hold back when I see blatant false teaching.

A couple of the videos we watched and some of the books we flipped through taught "Gods Word" but not a single Bible passage was used. How can we teach God's Word and not use God's Word?

So because of the info we found I can say "yes the are false teachers" and I will never recommend them to anyone. But it's not me who does the work its the Holy Spirit so I'll let Him do His job. We will all stand before God some day He is the judge so....

Joyce Meyers doesn't appear to have any formal theological training. But, her private jet and six-figure cars proves she doesn't need to know what she's talking about.

here is my main problem with all these statements. your persongal opinion is in no way a fact of any matter only an opinion. no one can say who God has called or for what reasons. The word clearly tells us let the wheat and tare grow together God will do the separation. There is a lot of ignorance to scripture even for people who speak against any of Gods servants in any capacity.
The word says if you have an ought against your brother and I'm sure sister that you go to them and if they don't receive you take a witness and go back if they still don't receive you then shake the dust from your feet and move on. I see no one ever making a comment I contacted so and so with a problem I have with their teaching! It did not say bash them or give personal opinions. It is so sad that none of you realize folks on cc do the same to each of us each day.
Why then if many are so spiritual don't you get this truth. Keep your mouth and typed words off of your brothers and sisters and pray for them the prince of the power of the air often manipulates words that are typed to distort their meaning this is a fact most mean something else when typing some mean exactly what they are typing I'm not the judge but I am wise enough not to put my mouth on what I really don't know.
As for trying to determine scripture that too is a sticky issue all don't read the same bible or have the same understanding. Here is a thought what if and this is just an example. What if Joyce,Kenneth,Joel are right about their teachings and all the rest wrong or just don't have the same insight yet then what? This reminds me of the people yelling crucify him crucify him.
As a pastor it bothers me that folks opinions even when ignorant and obviously carnal and ungodly receive so many people in agreement makes you wonder or at least it makes me wonder. Just a thought.
I agree. The bible tells us in Matthew 7:1"Judge not, that ye be not judged." We cannot say who God will or not call for the building of His Kingdom. If you can recall Rehab and the Samaritan woman, both considered harlots and outcasts. The bible does teach us however, that we should not be decieved by false prophets and in John 10:1-5 Jesus says "and my sheep will know my voice"
Also in Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them."so He gives us the wisdom to recognize the difference.
