ST. MATTHEW; 7;1; JUDGE NOT, that ye be not judged..2; For with what judgment ye judge,ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3;And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4; Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye.? 5; Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye,and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. 6; Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet ,and turn again and rend you.....................---------------------What Jesus is saying here is that only if you have become born again of the spirit can you tell your brother that he has a mote in his eye. meaning the beam has been removed from yours, because you are now born again. Then you can judge according to the word of God. 1 Conrinthians 2; 12'Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God.; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13; Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but the Holy Ghost teacheth '; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.. 14; But the natural man receiveth not the things of the spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15'; But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.16; For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him.? But we have the mind of Christ.---------------------Judge your fellow christians according tothe word ,because the word judges when spoken. Judge not outside the word of God.

Funny. When I've questioned or called you out on things you just make negative, indirect references to me in future threads. Or that one time you blatantly criticized me soon guess this judging others thing only works if you are the one judging others? Since you certainly don't seem to appreciate being questioned about anything you say without taking it poorly. I have yet to see you respond with an open mind. Hmm. You have something in your eye...

I don't think that is what Jesus means...Consider Romans 14:1-4: As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. These verses are clearly speaking to believers in Jesus. Now translate this verse to other areas like how a person dresses or what music a person listens to. Consider this also, Jesus says nothing about if you believe in me you can judge people all you want. Jesus does not say that.Consider also what a poor witness it is to non-Christians if we are judging others without taking a good look at ourselves. That type of judging is hypocritical. Consider also Romans 2:21-23: you then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the law dishonor God by breaking the law.
