This is actually the forum, not a chat room. There are many chat rooms you can log into to chat on the "Chat Rooms" page. Here people post topics and get responses.

This is a thread where anyone can "post" a question, comment, etc. and other people reading the post respond to the poster's thoughts. If you want advice from a variety of sources, you must state your problem. If you want more private advice, you can choose someone from among the threads who seems to share your general thinking, and send them a private e-mail. These alternatives are covered in the FAQ's.
