I have enjoyed my time here immensely. Thank You all! The fellowship of brothers and sisters of like minds coddles my soul. And yes I am all man when I say coddles....Smile!

I have on my friends list many who Have shown me Christ in there conversations, people who meditate on God's word not in the c.c. environment, but also in a private area of their choosing . They show evidence of reflecting on, pondering, musing over, and contemplating over God's precious Word.

They are not "mind-wandering", or indulging in "mental-drifting"...They focus on scriptural concepts.

I can see from their actions, that go beyond themselves, that they must have spent a few moments directing their thoughts to a single subject....Thinking about His word with a purpose.

They speak from conviction, based on a study of God's word that was not a solemn academic exercise, but required an attitude of curiosity and expectation, which lead them to exercising discoveries, refreshment of spirit, and transformation of Character.

I see from their testimonies the reward and benefit they have received.

And as, I , rest in Him thru scripture I find myself purposefully sorting thru information for Clarification, application, categorization, and assimilation. Thank You all in the CC world. And a special shout out to my friends list as well.

But I have some I have met that show signs of not sitting in the understanding pool of Christ. And I want to admonish those that have shown signs of walking in the counsel of the Wicked, or who have stood in the way of sinners, who chose to mock rather than build- up, that Christ is watching.

My heart is for each of the latter to find understanding and peace thru God's relationship in the Word. For God promises to prosper you as well if you but yield to His authority.

Stay fresh today - wither not! Because it's another day that the Lord hath brought! Sing songs! And may the Joy of our spirit fill these Threads, blogs, discussion groups, live chats, and counsel between members in private. May God receive the Glory today...........And always!

Brother, you have no authority to chastise anybody, in my opinion, but I could be wrong.

I just see that you are potentially limiting where God wants his children to be. Some MAY be in the fellowship of the wicked, but that is also where Christ testified. Don't be so hung up on the scriptures. I got my basics from the scriptures in preschool. That is where I think Sunday School is appropriate, but until you can actually testify as a witness to God's dealings with His children, which I saw none of in this post, shut the hell up regarding your chastising. If you are a licensed minister, I will abruptly apologize. Otherwise, set yourself on the path to understanding Father, Son and Spirit. K?

I have no problem with claiming some sort of narcissism, but you'd better pray about this, brother, because you are the first one I have felt that I needed to respond to within the past 3 months. Take that as you may.

In the Letters to the Corinthians, the apostle Paul discusses the ministry of reconciliation, and He uses the term "Ambassador's" for Christ: "All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself thru Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting mens sins against them, and he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

We are therefore Christ's Ambassador's as though God were making His appeal thru us. [ 2 Cor. 5:18-20 [Emphasis added]]

"All scripture is God- breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. So that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." [ Tim. 3:16-17.]

"My Word, which comes from my mouth, is like the rain and snow. It will not come back to me without results. It will accomplish whatever I want and achieve whatever I send it to do." [God's word translation].

Interesting. I came directly from posting my last post in the music forum... to this thread. Awesome how God confirms.
 
After praying about this too, I would actually change the word "Admonish" to say "Encourage" in my original text....Because it is not , I, that initiates final judgement, It is God Himself. God is the ONLY one that deserves the Glory and Praise.

This encouragement was the intent of my heart in the original writing, but that word exchange would best illustrate my heart in the message....thank you for prompting me to clarify that specific point.
 
To encourage is far better than to admonish. Now, not saying that there aren't times when admonishment isn't necessary, but that should be done within the confines of the congregation in my opinion. This is spoken of in Scripture. Problem is, lots of folks tend to admonish without first assuring that they themselves are in proper standing with Christ. :)
