I have read if you are overweight and you work out, you will be healthier than a person who is normal weight and does not work out.

I've been doing stretches, weights and riding my bike for 10 years now. Except I had to slow down with the failure of my RA meds. But even the stretching, which I have been keeping up makes me feel so much better than just sitting and doing nothing.

Yes,

I'll admit it's the good way
to stay in healthy mood,
to have a good shape and
to have energy to spread.
Even walking during one hour and half
it will be the top I'll say...
That's more motivating
when Dog or Dogs walk with us,
it's more encouraging!
About eating healthy like
vegetables, fruits, proteins ETC,
it's helping a lot too even
if we're tend to be addicted to eat junk food
because it's so delicious!
As usually, I'll put a verse....
So God will be with us to each day.

Walking is better for women than men. Walking and socializing helps women reduce cortisol. Sprinting and lifting heavy weights is best for men. Even jogging is counterproductive. Distance running raises estrogen. All you have to do is look at men who run marathons, skinny with small muscle mass. Sprinting and lifting heavy are anaerobic exercise and cause osteoblast (breaking down of bone cells) both increasing testosterone and growth hormone release. When you do these with low blood sugar (because insulin spike causes growth hormone to not be released) it yields great results. While you are at it, eat the white of watermelon and a raw egg (mixed in a low carb protein shake) before bed. This will help with hormone production like HGh and T during the night while you are sleeping and your body is repairing itself. Also is good for manly parts. Also eat some sunflower seeds for zinc to prevent that increase in testosterone devolving into estrogen. Just saying....if you are going to do it, do it right! All the veggies and leafy greens you want to fight oxidative stress that would otherwise raise cortisol that raises blood sugar that pumps insulin through your veins continually reducing HGh and causing insulin resistance that causes type 2 diabetes. Health and fitness has more to do with your endocrine system. Learn that and you unlock all of the secrets to burning fat while you exercise instead of just wasting time at the gym.

I just started working out about a month ago and while it has bee challenging, I've never felt better. Getting control of my weight and diet was something I paid a lot of lip service to but never really got further than that. I thank God for giving me the strength every day to keep pushing on and exercising.
