It won't be for lack of trying. The Donald has selected Tom Homan to be his "border czar." Homan wants mass deportation and cares very little for human rights or common sense. He's listed in Project 2025 as a contributor. Of course deportation is a critical part of Project 2025. So Trump tries to tell us he has no idea what Project 2025 is or what it's about then picks a guy who's a member of the Heritage Foundation and who also contributed to Project 2025. Sure Donald, we know you didn't know anything about it.

Whether it will succeed, my guess is it will partially succeed but not to the extent they think it will. The federal government isn't capable of doing anything effectively.

It's weird, right? I think he's just some poor dupe that's being paid to try to discourage any support for Trump, Christian nationalism (which I personally have not seen in my own church or neighborhood *shrug*) and a few other things his master wants him to keep harping on. In the end, I wonder if he'll realize that none of this duplicity is worth it.

We see this now with RFK's "controversial" selection by Trump versus the certain deputy that would have succeeded under the democrat administration which was promised to stay entrenched.
