This subject was briefly touched upon in another thread and I thought it would make for a very interesting conversation. While I don't have time to seek out the scripture seeing as I have to leave for work shortly, here's a short list that the bible mentions just off of the top of my head.
#1.) Three crowns - I know the first crown is the "crown of eternal life" which I assume everyone will be given. The other two escapes my mind at the moment however, I do believe one is a "crown of righteousness".
#2.) A new name written upon a stone. Quite possibly a new name in general or, in my opinion, a title regarding your new position within Christ's newly established physical kingdom.
#3.) In Matthew Jesus talks about how He is going to heaven to prepare a place fgor us and how there are many mansions in heaven. Could this be a heavenly abode or does He referring to a new dwelling place in His Kingdom that also reflects your new position within Christ's Kingdom?
Personally, I believe that Christ Himself and His will for our lives to be our greatest reward. To seek after anything seems sort of self centered to me.
Anyways, if anyone else can think of anything please list it. Also, if you can think of a verse of scripture to confirm it, that would be much appreciated as well.
