- “How is the gold become dim! how is the most pure gold changed! The stones of the sanctuary are poured out at the head of every street. The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, How are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter! ” (Lam 4.1,2)
Two mistakes that we commit: go over what is picayune and run down what is worthwhile. We bother about how people deem us or we disturb ourselves by the appearance of the temple where we go to try to find Jesus.
Nonetheless, what does it come through when people see us or someone that mingle with us? It’s better to be earthen pitchers, but to have within us the Holy Spirit (our treasure), than to be gold or silver, but refuse to be undergone to the refining of Jesus (Malachi 3.2,3), which make our faith more precious (1Peter 1.6,7).
Although the probations are eclectic and grueling, don’t come to term with the world in order to get out of the predicament. You will burn yourself out doing so many hackneyed things. However dire or ordeal the tribulation may seem, be complaisant toward Jesus and never allow your mood in Christ wear off.
Moreover, have a magnificent day in Christ Jesus accepting all that is necessary so that you may be who you really are before Him (1Corinthians 13.12).
