[FONT=&quot]That is the plea of the psalmist in Psalms. So we[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]need to trust in the Lord that He will watch over us[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]and we can feel safe and comforted. It is not easy[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]for us to allow anyone but ourselves to be in charge[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]of our life. Even if we just hold on to a single thread[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]we want that little bit of self control. Yet while God[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]doesn't demand our complete concession to Him, [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]He does illustrate that if we don't, because of our lack[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]of faith, we will falter. So we come to the Lord and in[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]supplication and surrender to Him. We need to let[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]ourselves go like a child who is completely dependant[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]on their parents. So we must be with our Divine Father.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]The question becomes; are we able to do it. Can we[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]let go of that final thread we cling to; do we have that[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]ultimate trust in God.[/FONT]
