This made me LOL,I was at this park that's close to me,I was reading there,there was these kids there,the kid couldn't have been more then 6 or 7,he was watching the birds,and the turtles in the lake,he goes to his little brother,what in the hell?It was so funny.

Really? Hearing a small child swear is funny? Even if it's only a mild swear? what?!!! :confused: I've heard kids even younger than that say the F word--it's totally not funny.

I agree,no it's not,espically using the f word,parents really need to watch what they say in front of their kids.
 
Sorry, but I don't find anything funny about kids swearing. I've heard kids say and do far worse things and it makes me sad, especially kids around that age having no adult supervision as well.

And when there are adults, there's some that seem to not care and find kids swearing funny. I have neighbors who speak another language and despite that the majority around this block may not understand them, I hung out with people who spoke in the same language as them and picked up on some words and they think that it's acceptable.
 
Sad part is they have know knowledge of that it's a swear word
 
This is far from being funny and there is nothing funny about anyone at any age having a potty mouth. I work in Child Day Care and I for one am sick of children's dirty mouths as well as their rotten, disrespectful attitudes. These kids are going to be growing up and running our country some day.

I wish so much that parents would start doing their jobs and start teaching their children morals, values, manners and respect. But no one can expect that when they themselves have potty mouths and are rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful.

Right now we have 2 three year old children sassing with their mouth. One called a male teacher a B***h and the same day one of the girls called her female teacher a Mother F****r. So please explain to me how THAT is funny!!! If at any age I would have been caught talking to an adult like that or even thinking of disrespecting them, my mother would have knocked my teeth out as well as paddled my butt to the point of not being able to sit down for a month.

There is no need to wonder why our society is in the shape it is in, with parents not doing their jobs and cursing themselves in front of their kids, and then the other half thinking it is so funny.

Parents lack of caring and children's rotten attitudes are why I no longer want to do this job anymore. It is too stressful and no matter what is taught to them, if it is not followed up at home, or even within the next classroom, one might as well pound their head against a wall, for the lack of good the teaching will do.

We had another child in Day Care that was also only 3 years old, talking nasty and dirty to the female teachers, calling them P***y and telling them to drop their pants and bend over. These kids should be taken away from their parents.

Most of the parents at our Day Care are mainly welfare parents. No one works and they pop babies out to stay on welfare. Dads are in jail from dealing drugs, moms shop lift and have dirty nasty mouths themselves. I hate the way society has become and it just makes me want to stay home within my 4 walls and never go out in public ever again.

Funny.....NOT, sad......VERY!!!

If I were you, I'd call CPS on the parents of those children. Obviously they're not receiving adequate parenting. any adult who raises their kids that way is obviously not fit to be a parent, and should have the kids removed. If people can't raise their children to be polite and have good manners then they shouldn't have kids at all. That's just neglect, laziness and irresponsibility.

Jeez, BelieverinChrist. I don't know how you even stay there. I agree very much, parents are not doing their roles and that's why we're resulting with the offspring that we have. It's very sad, since it leads me to the thoughts that it does even though it's not all of the kid's fault. They're being raised by immature kids, for lack of better term.

I can see why people don't want kids in this day and age and I think even if I'm given an opportunity, I wouldn't want any for the sake of such exposure that is going on these days as well.
 
All children are a blessing from God, they are so lovely and innocent. Someone has corrupted this child's young mind and that is quite disappointing.

The sad thing is that it may not be a great 'excuse' for the kids to be taken away. Fair warning, probably, but not taken away if they are given their basic needs such as clean clothes, food, no marks from being beaten, etc. Then again, I don't know how the process of that goes...
 
If my husband and I are ever blessed with children of our own or get to adopt....we plan on keeping them out of public school and doing the Online School. I don't ever want my child exposed to this stuff. Before I met my husband, I had decided I never wanted to bring a child into this evil world, but for his sake and since he wants one, I am happy to try. But we want to raise our children right.

As one said, this is not the kids fault, but the parents. I agree 100%.

I have worked in Child Care for over 17 years now and I could tell you horror stories not only about the kids, but how the places are run and what actually goes on behind the scene, as well as stupid people that have no business teaching. The things I could tell you would curl your hair.

Even though I know it would do my job in, I still strongly feel the mother should be staying home raising her children instead of shoving them off on someone else to raise them. Once they are in regular school, then if you want a job, then go and get one. But until then, the parents should be bringing up their children.

The places I have worked in my area, most of the parents don't even want to be around their kids, that is why they drop them off as early as they can and wait until almost closing time to come back and get them. Why be a parent if you don't want to take responsibility for raising your kids, I will never understand.

I wish in school they would start teaching a parenting class and everyone, boys and girls would have to be required to go in and help for a few hours every day in a Day Care, with different age groups. Maybe if they got experience to see what having a child was really like, they would think twice about it.

I'm respectfully sorry if this causes a stir, and I disdain profanity and crude behavior as well, let alone coming from a child. But to call CPS over vulgarity or remove a child/children from their home because they picked up bad language, maybe even bad manners...Am I the only one that thinks this is a little presumptuous and extreme?

Again, I apologize if my questioning seems apathetic to the matter, because I certainly am not​.

In my eyes, this is a sign of flat out neglect. Especially in the situations I have shared. Sadly, it is very hard to prove anything anymore when calling these places. This kind of bad behavior will only breed and increase worse behavior as a child gets older. It is not a healthy environment for any child to be in. As well as not right for a teacher to have to put up with being called such things and to have that kind of behavior in class.

The Day Care was going to try to report one family for neglect because their one daughter would come to school starving and trying to eat anything she found on the floor and many times she even got in the trash can eating anything she could find. Sadly, even though we documented a lot of things, the Day Care backed down and never reported it. They said it is hard to prove things like that and they would just get laughed at for reporting such a thing. To me....that was extremely sad. There is a lot I would love to turn people in for, but it would just be their word against mine and hard to prove anything.

There is a big difference between picking up bad language and lack of manners, compared to the examples I have shared. There comes a point where a line needs to be drawn and someone stepping in to give these kids a better chance at life.
 
hmm...anyone who has been a parent of a child that age for more than a few minutes
will know that we can't control absolutely everything they say and do.

dissenting opinion--butterfly, i can see why it made you laugh.
it's SO not what one would expect!

we raised six children, and if mild profanity was the worst any of them did,
i'd be relieved. to me, biting your sister...striking your brother...
sassing your parents...seem much worse.

my guess is that child didn't know how it sounded...
and we do not know he heard that language from his parents!
a CPS investigation...which can be quite traumatic for all involved...
is a bit over the top, imo.
imagine if the child heard it elsewhere and was then taken from a loving home
and placed with God alone knows who...

look at the positives. these kiddos were outdoors in the fresh air,
getting some exercise rather than sitting in front of the television
or playing video games.

it was a small peek into a life...
i certainly don't endorse kids (anyone!) using 'bad' language, but we may have gone
a bit too far on this one. :)
 
ps--our kiddos never used bad language, but they did do the things
listed above.

thank God no one called CPS!
 
When one is around a child long enough, one can tell if it is just a simple slip of the tongue and something they just over heard and repeated, to one with flat out bad behavior...they know they are saying something bad and do so on purpose, they may not know the exact meaning of what they are saying, but they know it's bad and they do it on purpose. There is a big difference between the two. And even seeing their parents and how they act and react, you can tell which kids innocently say things and which do so because it is the normal for them at home and allowed to say such things.

but none of us was around that little one long enough to make a fair
determination, don't you think?

I agree with you, but the one reply back concerning reporting the behavior was towards my post on what was being said from kids at the Day Care where I work, they weren't saying that towards the original post. :)

No problem, unless I misunderstood the reply about it, but I assumed they were talking to me about what I had shared about what was going on in the Day Care I work at. No biggie :) With my brain anymore...who knows...lol
