Because I dont think its wrong? Ive kissed a number of girls when i was dating them and never got that whole feeling of conviction that i had screwed u that i sometimes get on other things that aren't actually mentioned. Also I have a pretty good handle on myself and have never had a problem controlling myself. A kiss is just a kiss. Its not a gateway to fornication and premarital sex unless you are weak enough to give into the temptation.
So you are going by feeling? Great way to be led astray.

We can become legalistic with anything. I haven't kissed anyone on the mouth since 1996, so I guess that makes me more "pure" than most of you! 
Some Christians believe it's a sin to be fat because one of the so-called seven deadly sins is "Sloth". I mean, you guys are bragging to the world how pure you are! Who cares? What do you want, a plaque? A medal? You want we should erect a shrine in your name so everyone can strive to be more like you? Can Man impress God? At what point does grace come into this discussion? Did Jesus come for the healthy or the sick?

Gluttony is a sin and people live off a bowl of rice every other day and some water... Once you can live by those standards as well I think the scriputre gives some leadway... I am saving myself for marriage which is just and right but! Im not saving my lips for marriage... Why? Because I have never once felt guilty, I have never been taught its a sin, and throughout my whole life of reading the bible God has NEVER laid on my heart that its a sin! I think this convo should just be dropped you know why? Cause im sure your gonna have a rebutal and its not gonna change mine and Shards mind haha I dont view it as a sin plain and simple.
Legalism isn't just making man standards law. It is also lowering God's standards to reach mans so it works both ways. I see this as the second, not the first. And I like my avatar.

Why should we force ourselves to suffer because of all the starving people in the world? If you are one of the few people in the world lucky enough to get your hands on a T-bone steak, bite the stuffings out of it!
I don't think kissing is a sin, either, so I don't see what the fuss is all about. If you both agree to kiss and nothing more, then go for it!
I use the KJV for quoting usually because it carries more authority and the program I use works faster lol
I have yet to see anyone in favor of kissing show any sort of Scriptural evidence to why they believe it. Until I see it, I consider this argument null and void. We've produced several Scriptures to back up our standard, but nothing from the other side.

As far as I can see, no one who has said kissing before marriage is wrong has held a holier-than-thou attitude about it. We are not standing on some pedestal saying, "Look at all those sinful people, kissing every Tom, Dick, and Harry they come in contact with. What a bunch of heathens that deserve to burn in hell! I am so much better than them!"
We are saying "Based on what God has revealed to me, through His word, I believe kissing before marriage is wrong."

The legalism argument is really old and way over-used. Just like feminists use the word "misogynist" to describe any man that contradicts their view point, Christians use the word "legalistic" to describe any person that displays a higher moral standard than them. Yes, there are times when Christians go to far in their attempt to be holy, but that does not mean every person who has an opposing view to your own is legalistic.

What does grace have to do with deciding whether something is permissible among Christians or not? Grace is a gift, not a requirement. God does give grace to us when He sees fit, but that does not give us the right to sin. So if you want to bring up grace, perhaps you should point out that there is no guarantee that grace will be given to any of us. Since there is no guarantee, we should strive to be holy.

It may be old and overused, but if you don't like it, then it's probably because deep down you know it to be true.
My point is that God always forgives. Always. If you don't think so, then you're following some other "gospel". For the people who actually have sinned, there is forgiveness, if they ask for it.
I do not see anything wrong with a man and a woman shoving their tongues down each other's throats if they are boyfriend and girlfriend. No one will change my mind on that.

I dislike it because it is a weak argument that does not disprove anyone's point. It's pretty much akin to name-calling to me.
No one was saying there isn't forgiveness for those who sin.
Lol, because "shoving their tongues down each other's throats" is the best way to make your argument that kissing outside of marriage isn't bad sound credible. Why not just say "I see nothing wrong with a couple swapping spit with each other while shoving their tongues down each other's throats, and thrashing around in the back seat of the car like fish out of water, gasping for air, digging into each other's hair like a nurse looking for lice. That's totally Godly and awesome!"?
