lol. I hardly want a planned out conversation. I just don't understand why someone would approach me, and then expect me to come up with a point of discussion.
When I'm around people I don't hang out with, I'm not sure what to talk to them about, unless I see a point of interest. For example, if a guy approached me wearing a football shirt I could at least fall back on that if he couldn't find something to say. "So you like [insert team name here]? I'm a Vikings fan myself." If a personally just randomly approaches me, what am I suppose to do?
"Hey." "Hi." "I'm Bob, nice to meet you." "Hi Bob. I'm Hollie." "Just wanted to say hi." "...okay?" Really? What am I supposed to add to that conversation?
You just gotta be creative

This is easy!
Let's say you came up to me like that. "Hi, I'm miss Bobette"
I would laugh, then say "Hello, Bobbette, what an interesting name!"
You would say "Thank you, what's yours?"
I would say "My name is Chris, but it doesn't seem to have the same ring as Bobette. I'm quite jealous actually. My parents really must have hated me. Yours is beautiful, while mine is just plain! Your name is so feminine! You must have had very loving parents! Did you ever ask them how they came up with such a gorgeous name?"
You of course would explain the story of how you were born a hermaphrodite at one time, but of course your parents decided you were actually a woman. To commemorate this glorious occasion, they decided to mix their two favorite male/female names together... Bob and Lanette!
This would of course spark up such an interesting conversation that I would become very nervous, and puke in my mouth. You would laugh gleefully of course, seeing as I was very shy around you. As I slowly backed away, you would go in for the kiss. My wonderful puke breath would make you giggle, and you would ask for my number. The end.
Or, I could pretend I'm you. "Hey" "Hi" "I'm Bob, nice to meet you" "Hi Bob. I'm Hollie!" "Just wanted to say hi!" now is your turn to have fun!
You could say: "Hello Bob, so what else did you have to say beyond hi? I find that a great conversation piece, but alas, I am seeming to be having a mind blank at the very moment. Care to think of a topic?"
He would of course say "Uhhhhhhhhhhh" and you would smile at his shyness. He would reply "I think you are really pretty Holly!" You would thank him of course, and then compliment on his... wonderful grammar skills. The conversation would then bloom into very interesting topics from a man with a name such as Bob, such as his collection of golf clubs, power tools, flannel shirts, and how fast he can grow a beard.
Or, we can go the normal route:
I approach you.
Chris: "Hi"
Holly: "Hey"
Chris: "I'm Chris, nice to meet you"
Holly" "Hi Bob. I'm holly"
Chris: "Hi Holly. I just wanted to say hi, but my name is actually Chris!"
Holly: "Oh, well... hello Bob... I mean Chris!"
Chris: "Seeing as this conversation has taken a bad turn, I'd like to start over. My name is Chris, and your name is Holly. Nice to meet you Holly! Can I buy you a drink and entertain you with my wonderfully good looks?"
Holly: "No you may not Bob. I do not believe in alcoholic drinking, and I find you to be somewhat average on the beauty scale"
Chris: "Fair enough. Bartender! 5 shots of tequila please"
Holly: "I thought I told you I didn't drink?"
Chris: "Oh, these aren't for you hun." *Drinks shot after shot*
Chris: "Hey there good lookin, I haven't noticed you before. My names bob, nice to meet you!"
Holly: "Hi bob, my names Holly"
Chris: "Hello Holly. Just wanted to say hi"
Holly: "Hello bob"
Chris: "Uhhhhhhhhhhhh"
See? Easy
