What? No babe? How can you be an insensitive jerk without saying "Hey babe" to a woman? We must have babe in the poll!
I remember this topic, but I can't remember what was decided last time this topic was run. I think we decided on undecided.
In the last few months I have been getting called "baby" or "babe" and let me tell you, it makes me weak in the knees and they can get away with anything lol![]()
You forgot one, "Dame"
I think it matters less what you are called and more about who is doing the calling. I don't mind being called "baby", "honey", "sweetie", "sugar", "darlin'", "girl", "woman", "lady", etc. I don't like female, it is too scientific and clinical to me. Impersonal, I guess.
I don't mind ma'am.Or even worse...ma'am...lol.
I don't mind ma'am.I occasionally correct students and tell them to call me Ma'am. I had one last year that called me Miss. I liked that, it was kind of English. I remember the first time I was called ma'am. It stunned me. I was 16 and working in a fast food joint and a little kid called me ma'am. I felt so old!
In this forum: Either my real name (Sonia), Wine, or Rose would do.
In real life (Or should I say, the not-digital world): Almost anything, but mispronounce my name as Sonja and I will cut you.
