* I want*to share this, as I believe it's kind of being related to the thread cover. When people say God talks etc. don't be too shocked to believe that. God, Jesus, and the HOly Spirit, are some how One, for it says the kingdom of God is within you. John 17 says, I and the father are one. The first book called Genesis in the bible said that when Cain killed his brother Abel, God said, Cain what have you done? your brother Able's blood crys out to me from the ground.
There is something different about blood. You can't wash it away, not even with clorox, you could destroy aids with clorox, but you can't cover blood up, nor wash it away. Life is in the blood. I believe this, that it is a living thing. If God says, he knows when one bird falls to the ground, he knows when life begins, and he very well knows when it ends. He has messengers around all the time, called angels, that it says, *appear before him on a daily basis, telling him things about children, "their angles, go before the presence of God." He loves children, like himself, children are a pure soul, dependent on it's mother, so we as his are dependent on him, for many things. He knows when a sparrow dies, and he knows when every single human's soul has left, their spirit back to him. I know he feels, something, or knows, nobody knows the mind of God, it says this, so I am just speculating about my own theory, and thoughts, for grab and go. There is something about blood and life. It does cry out to God. Many things, and peoples have been brought to justice, because of it. This is just one story, of how a man, policeman, felt lead, be divine intervention to go at it alone, and look, when the team was gone. He was talked to by God. Or let's say, the holy spirit within him, when people's are praying, things start happening. Just one of these good news reports, where God is involved as Chief.*

 
I am not shocked to hear that God whispered in a searcher's ear, and they found the body. I imagine a young girl like that might have had many people, esp her parents praying for her. I know God answers prayers, so why not a divine nudge?
 
I too heard about this and agree with Angela. Maybe we should take more time to listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling us. As Christians prayer should be out first option.
 
That is a tough question to answer. No one knows the mind of God, it says, I definitely agree with that, and wouldn't even try to understand his ways, for his ways are not our ways. Sometimes we don't see beyond our own capabilities, like, there's a store close here, but the Lord leads somewhere a little further, and then you realize, why didn't I think of this before?#. Because were just human. So I like this; he talks he leadeth me. Psalm 23. Sometimes words are nothing, it's feeling his presence, is something more better than words, so I don't think he talks a lot to us, but it says, "draw close to me, nigh unto me, and I will get close with thee, will draw nigh unto you. *Amazing isn't it. :) Just my thoughts, a penny or a million bucks, IDK. :)
 
I know he leadeth us. I wanted to get a mailbox, close by, and fought so hard to get one, like almost tearing into the guy there in charge, and got one, a lot less, and a lot loving, and close to something that meets our needs, and never had a problem since. Not only that but they and they only changed it to recieve *etc. not only addressed as to P.O. but also a address with the street, for things that are not allowed to be*delivered. Did I know the future, no but the Lord's word*doesn't*bail on us, nor*rig*our lives, he says his plans are good and to be well for us. I never even thought of that, but "our ways, are not his ways." so YEAH! PRAISE HIM.
 
It was profound what you have written that sometimes we don't see beyond our own capabilities. I agree that His presence is better than words, or at least the words that we would use to describe such an experience. Very interesting in that as we draw nigh to the Lord He is drawing nigh unto us. Why didn't I think of this before? I believe that is because I don't understand His ways.
 
Our ways are not his ways. Another example here ya'll. Said, done with apt. shopping till after the HOlidays. SAid, it, felt it, the next day, going somewhere, was a sign, and my words did come true, never expected things to have happened, I don't need to look for one after the HOlidays, it's over done. In one day. Blessed be his name. "Our thoughts and ways are not his ways." PRAISE HIM!!!!!!!!YAY!!* *I want to say more. Call upon him, Galations 4:6 and Psalm 91:15 *Call upon me in the day of trouble, and I will deliver you, I will honor you, and satisfy you with a long life." *Only a Loving FAther would say that to you and me. *Wish I knew Abba a lot better before. But it's not late he waits for us to take that one step. LIke a Father waiting for his child to walk towards him, into his arms.*

Got one someplace else. NOt where I wanted. Very safe, police drive and sit in front of there all the time, IDK why but I feel very safe, he leadeth us.

NOt only that, but I used to miss the UPS, and FEDx people, all the time.*Guess*what, they changed it to accept them there. What a relief! For such a little price, a lot of freedom, and I never knew, but he knows, and he has plans for us. PRAISE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Speaking of God talking to us, we recently went on a house hunting trip in another province. We saw a nice house, with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, but there were a few things about the house we did not like. The paint can be easily changed, but the kitchen was small and cheap, and the extra bedrooms were upstairs, and I can't do stairs. We put an offer on the house, and then went to bed.

I spent most of the night praying. What I wanted most, was for God to flash a BIG sign telling me YES in green, or NO in red. Of course, that never happened! But I realized the next day that we put the offer on the house the same day we closed on our present home. And the interesting thing is that the house cost exactly what we sold our home for.

When I thought about those "coincidences" I realized God had spoken in a big way! It wasn't a voice, or even a nudge, but it was clear that God was saying yes to the home, which is actually built better than our home, which we built ourselves.

God really does have many ways of answering prayer, if we are walking close to him, and listen to what he is saying, instead of just trusting in ourselves!
