Appalled as to how much attention is given to the deaths of Hollywood celebrities such as Joan Rivers & Robin Williams. They are worshipped as idols.
Jesus Christ doesn't get half the attention on Easter's or Christmas Day. It is shameful and sad.

I am not familiar with any testimony regarding Ms. Rivers relationship with Christ. In the absence of such it is reasonable to assume she was lost and without hope of eternal life.
Perhaps in the saddest irony of all she has no laughter now.

I find it horribly sad the number of people here who claim to represent Christ and yet hold no compassion and only judgment for the death of a woman they did not know personally. Someone they only saw as a comedian character on TV and yet who is now grieved by an only daughter and a grandson. As well as colleagues and friends.
Condemning a woman who is dead while evoking the name and anointing of Christ serves to apply an image upon all of you. One that makes you appear lost when it comes to common decency and respect. You are not God. You have no authority to determine where Joan Rivers is now after this life has passed away.
She was a Jew. And when Jews are God's chosen people still, you may want to show a little respect for her faith. Because it was from there that Christ arose as a Jew and the promised Messiah that first came to save the Jews. Not the gentiles!
The saddest irony is the hate that so called loving Christians show here toward a dead woman who can't speak back. But who they can only speak to in condemning tones. You should be ashamed of yourselves. This is a memorial thread and you don't have the Christian decency to let that be.
The hate that bubbles in this forum generally by those who label themselves Christian and even use Christian labels in their identity is appalling. The image and likeness of what it means to be a Christian , when people find this site having searched the keywords, "Joan Rivers", gives the world the impression of what it means to be Christian.
If people here calling themselves that can't demonstrate compassion and decency toward a dead woman,that image is one they project personally. But tragically it reiterates the worst common denominator among the community itself as a whole.
May God protect the people of Christ.
