Some rooms for specific chat are always empty.
Wouldn't it better to have like two Lounge Rooms instead?

We do, the second one is called the 'Random room'.

It's mostly empty too.

'Loung II' should be right below 'Lounge' in the list.
That way, if Lounge is full, people wanting to chat random topics will automatically spill over into the Loung II Room,
and not in Bible Study Room.

People spill into the bible study room because its usually the only other room with people in it. People tend to stay in the Lounge otherwise because thats where everyone else is. For the most part the other rooms only get used when a group decides to go to a room together. The concept you're putting out is that people will want to leave the central hub where there are a lot of people to meet and active conversations going on to hop to another room, in hopes that someone else will be there. And that a bunch of individuals will all happen to do this on a regular basis and then begin chatting in another room. It barely happens now, i don't see by naming a room Lounge II is going to make people magically switch over all of a sudden.

People are higly mobile, they browse rooms until they find good company and a place to speak their mind. But when the room is too full, and they can't get the attention they deserve, they usually leave for another room. So when Lounge is too crowded they spill over to the next room, which is Bible Study. Making Loung II the second in the list would mean that people that just want to discuss random topics don't spill over into the Bible Study Room. Bible Study Room is for studying the Bible, not for talking about food, cats and holidays, however pleasant and enjoyable they may be. I know how chat works, bro.

You seem to enjoy commenting on my posts: ah yes, i do see a pattern emerging here. :p

Anyway, let's just see what webmaster thinks about my idea, shall we?

The Random room has been picking up a lot of people over the last few nights who leave the lounge or Bible Study because of arguing, debates, or they just want something new. If the random chats in Bible Study are bothering you, I encourage you to suggest that room.

Typically the random chat in the Bible Study room is because the room is between topics, just like often the Prayer room ends up with random chat because no one is looking for prayer at the moment. Most Lounge chatters don't go into Bible Study unless they're looking for a Bible discussion.

Sorry, thought this was a public forum where i could voice my opinion.

Definition of irony: Create a topic about fewer rooms called "Less Rooms".

OP suggests another Lounge room. :p

I'm all aboard omitting some of the rooms. While a good many don't get used, there are a few in particular that are vacant more often than not (*cough* Filipino room). But I have to agree with Ugly here, in that a second Lounge seems redundant.

... not another room, just making the the second room Lounge II.
Yes, we could do with less rooms, that's why i made my thread in the first place.
