Let’s focus on what Jesus planned for us:
Why don't we often see this verse being fulfilled in our lives? One of the reasons is because we don’t know what we need. Many times, we are very similar to the disciples that went to the village of Emmaus:
They were so resentful of Jesus that their eyes were restrained. Although Jesus came to them, they didn’t recognize Him. The same error comes about us: Jesus manifest in all our ways, but as we don’t acknowledge Him, our paths aren’t straightened.
We go astray in our common life, living as the disciples of Emmaus: simply going through life without live it. You can be sure: Life goes far beyond getting married, having children, and working to bolster them. Jesus created us to live in novelty of life (Romans 7.6; 2Cor 5.17). Nobody was done to hold on to a comfortable routine. As we are created to the image and likeliness of Jesus, we are strangers and pilgrims in this world (1Peter 2.11), always aspiring the miracles of the Holy Spirit (after all, the kingdom of Jesus is justice, peace and happiness in the power of the Holy Spirit (Rom 14.17; 1Cor 4.19).
Finally, have I splendorous week in Christ Jesus and don’t forget to ask wisdom to Jesus (James 1.5) so that it’s doable for you to leave precious teachings and you can be able to ask in praying what is good for you and people around you:
- “Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you.” (Matthew 7.7).
