“For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money." Matt. 25:14-18

The parable teaches that everyone will be required to give an account of how they used what was given to them. Success is not measured by having the most, but by being faithful with what God has given. The servants who gained five and two talents received the same praise, "Well Done". The third servant never heard those coveted words. He let fear rob him. The master proclaimed him a wicked, slothful servant and had him cast into outer darkness. (Matt. 25:24-32)

Consider how easy it would have been for the one who would weep throughout eternity to alter that outcome. The principle behind the parable applies to winning lost souls. The master didn't require a massive harvest. All His servant had to do was try. The man was equipped with God-given abilities to reach lost souls. And even if people mocked and never took him seriously it would'nt have mattered one iota. How do we know this to be true? Consider Noah.

Noah was a preacher of righteousness for 120 years. He undoubtedly reached out to a multitude of people, And it probably never crossed his mind, and would have weighed heavily on his heart had he known that none that he witnessed to, with the exception of his family, would ultimately be saved. Nonetheless, in the end, Noah heard the coveted words, "Well Done". Why? Because he persisted in obeying God regardless of the peoples unwillingness to accept the truth.

Refuse to let fear have the final say!

1Jn_4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Love is essentially selflessness. Without self, there is little to fear.

1Co 13:4 Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5 doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil;
1Co 13:6 rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth;
1Co 13:7 beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
