With an attitude like that, WHY would God give you to a good christian woman?
So many ask God for a good christian spouse, yet they won't evaluate themselves as whether they are themselves a good mature christian to be that kind of spouse for the other person.
Instead of asking for a christian wife, ask God to make YOU a good christian husband.

So often in life people think that they're waiting on God, but, in reality, God is waiting on them.

So because they are happy being single is what makes them dateable. I've heard many people say "as soon as I stopped looking, I found someone." I thing you're more relaxed and more yourself when you are not under the stress of finding a partner. You gave very good advice.

Hubby and I have always done this from the very first. We don't speak badly of one another in front of our parents or friends, we're even careful how we joke about each other. I knew a lady years ago and all she did was berate her husband to anyone who would listen, in front of him!! I always felt so sorry for that poor man.

My Mom told me once, that telling people the bad your spouse does, or his shortcomings, says as much about me as it does about him. If he is really as bad as we say, then why would we want anyone else to know how poorly we chose? ;)

Of course, it is best if husband and wife can attain to never speaking badly of each other any at all - not even in private - because they truly understand, and never forget, the two-become-one reality that God put into place. And, they love each other enough to not want to [so much as] belittle the one they treasure.

Anyone who speaks badly of their spouse to someone else is not thinking clearly, being selfish, or worse.
