I heard a prayer request recently listing the size of the problems, and how difficult it would be for Christians to work in a particular country..........after hearing that, I said creating a universe by speaking is 'quite difficult', but we serve a God, Who by the end of praying, if it was in His will could of saved everyone in that country!

God is awesome, and doesn't need telling how hard things are :) tell your problems how awesome God is!!!!!!

Lets expect amazing things people, it will never be because God is unable if something doesn't happen as we pray!

But it's not a case of getting down about how we pray, and into a cycle of despair. Just look to God, get to know Him more, nothing is impossible! The enemy wants us to focus on our weaknesses, God wants us to move on, acknowledge and boast in our weaknesses, so His stregth can be perfected in them! Praise the Lord He blessed me with much weakness, and we can't do anything without Him, so we need His grace to believe!

I'm preaching to myself here too! :)
 
Here's something I heard a friend of mine say: Instead of saying, "God I have a big problem." say, "Problem, I have a big God!"
 
Instead of speaking to God about our problems, we ought to speak to our problems about God! He told us to talk to the mountain, not to talk to Him about it! Awesome post, Timofree!

I like that, lil_christian. I might use it sometime :P

P.S. There's so much good stuff in that post, man.
 
all the glory goes to God, it's awesome knowing we can't do anything apart from Him :D
 
It's quite the blessing not to have to depend on ourselves!
 
I get what you mean there... Blech. BUT like you said your friend said, "Problems, I've got a big God!"

We serve a God Who can change that though :) I need to remind myself of that, but by His grace not as much as when I was first saved!

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.

Praise God!!!
