Dear Britt,

There hasn’t been a day where I haven’t thought of you—your voice, your laughter, the way you made even the darkest days feel light. When I was with you, it was like all my problems faded away. Talking to you felt like stepping into a little piece of heaven. Time disappeared when we were together. I never got tired of hearing your cheerful voice—it had the power to calm my storms, to lift my depression and anxiety, to make me feel truly alive.

You were the best thing that ever happened in my life. I still remember how we prayed together, sang hymns like “God Leads Us Along”, played games, studied the Bible, and shared every little thought like it mattered. And with you, everything did matter.

I miss those moments more than I can put into words. I miss you—your presence, your spirit, your faith, your kindness. No one could ever replace the space you’ve filled in my heart.

I know life moves on, and I respect your journey and your choices. But I just want you to know that you were deeply loved—and you still are. I thank God for the time I had with you. You were my peace, my joy, my companion in the things that truly mattered.

I pray you're surrounded by happiness, love, and light. That your days are full of music and warmth, and that God leads you gently through whatever path you're walking now. Just like we once sang together: “Some through the fire, but all through the blood.” Wherever you are, I know He's still leading you.

And me? I carry the memories. I carry the love. Always.

With all my heart,
Nipun

You once asked me to be honest.
But I lied, Britt. I said I didn't have feelings for you. The truth is, I always loved you. I couldn't change my feelings for you, no matter how hard I tried.
When you wanted to leave, I wanted to keep you in my life. Looking back, that was wrong. I should have let you go. I lied because I was afraid of losing you completely and wanted to keep some place in your life. For that, I am truly sorry.
Your happiness means the world to me. I can't promise that I will ever forget you. You will always have a place in my heart.
I still remember the days we sang hymns together, studied the Bible, and played games. Those memories remain very precious to me.
I was selfish because I wanted to keep you in my life. You brought out the best in me, and being around you made me a better person.
When I go somewhere beautiful, I often think of you and wish you could see it too. At night, thoughts of you still cross my mind.
Most of all, I pray for your happiness. No matter where life takes you, I hope you find joy, peace, and everything your heart desires.
I'm sorry for the hurt I caused, and I'm grateful for every memory we shared.

Hello nnrukshan, thank you for sharing your heart with us, I did look at your profile and saw
that John 6 v 35 was your favourite Bible verse and because of that I finished this song vid...

That was heart-rending to read. Love is the greatest thing in the world, but it can also be the most painful. Maybe I'm too soft, but reading that made me want to cry. God bless you.

My dear Britt,

Tonight, like many nights, you crossed my mind again.

Not with pain, not with regret—but with a quiet happiness.

I want you to know something I never said clearly enough:

seeing you happy, even if that happiness is not with me, brings peace to my heart. I never wished to own your joy—only to see it alive. And knowing that you are loved, safe, and smiling somewhere in this world feels like a gift, not a loss.

I won’t pretend I don’t miss you. I miss the prayers, the hymns, the conversations that felt like home. I miss the friendship more than the title we never kept. Sometimes I wish we could still be friends, still speak gently as we once did—but I understand why that may not be possible now. I respect your life, your boundaries, and your path.

Please know this:

what we shared was real. It shaped me in ways I carry forward with gratitude, not bitterness. You taught me tenderness, patience, and a deeper way to love—one that lets go without turning cold.

I place you in God’s hands every time I think of you. And I trust Him enough to believe that nothing good is ever truly lost. If not in this life, then in eternity—where there is no distance, no misunderstanding, no timing that separates hearts.

Until then, I walk on quietly, wishing you joy.

And when I think of you, I smile.

With peace,

Nipun

The Day We Sang

I remember telling Britt that she had a beautiful voice.

She didn't just say thank you and move on.

She said, “Let's go to another room and sing.”

So we went into another room on the chat app and sang together.

I remember singing that song.

But what I remember most is what happened afterward.

Britt clapped for me.

It was such a simple thing—just someone clapping after I sang—but I still remember it.

I remember how it felt to have her there.

She was my most special friend. My only friend.

At a time when I didn't really have anyone else, Britt was the person I could talk to, laugh with, sing with, and share pieces of my life with.

Those days are gone now, but the memories aren't.

Sometimes I wish I could go back—not necessarily to change anything, but just to experience one of those evenings again.

To hear her voice.

To hear us singing.

To hear her clapping afterward.

Just for a moment.

Just to remember what it felt like when Britt was there.
