Wow. I thought I was the only "one of a kind political ideology" on here with my Anarchist beliefs. A Liberal Christian...you just don't see too many of those either.

I don't know about in the realm of politics, but there are plenty of people here who have liberal understandings of God's Word. Too many, if you ask me. Which you didn't.

I realize that many right wingers on this forum claim Jesus as one of their own. But whether anyone realizes it or likes it or not, Christian progressives are far more adamant in proclaiming Jesus as their true socio-political inspiration.
Right wingers for example often portray Jesus as a a muscle bound tough guy carrying a rifle. By contrast, liberals portray him as a nice guy surrounded by families, especially by children.

I prefer the dough eyed Jesus. Those paintings you see of Him are the actual likeness of Him. He was really a lot like Ghandi....peace, good love and happiness stuff. He didn't have boundaries and just let people walk all over Him. He preferred for people to just give everything they own away and live from hand to mouth.
I try my best to be Centrist. Will fail on occasion, though.
As for the portrayals above, I have yet to see any proof that Jesus would have armed himself with a high powered rifle for any reason, instruct Bush to invade Iraq, inspire Queen Victoria and King Leopold to kill millions of Indians and Congolese, or tell Hitler that killing Jews was going God's handiwork.
He would have if He was building an earthly kingdom. I wonder what kinds of weapons the angels have.
I don't believe in every part of evolution, actually there's a lot of parts I don't believe, I'm also independent.... And voted for Trump. Not because I like him, because I'm terrified of Hillary Clinton. But, I'm pro LGBT pro choice as long as it's before two months into pregnancy, pro birth control, I do hate college rallys because it's just a buck of idoits sobbing and yelling whilst getting nothing done and looking stupid- but I think we have a lot of similarities.
I'm in-between but I hope being LGBT and independent politically, hope that is enough!
