Liberal churches are dying a slow but steady decline:

In general, “Mainline churches” have become more focused on liberal political doctrine than Christian doctrine.
Some Mainline traditions you may have heard of include the United Methodist Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Episcopal Church, and many more. Typically, these are churches with “old school” worship practices, but “new school” doctrine, accepting a variety of lifestyles/theologies that have been rejected throughout Church history..

These Churches are trying to include everyone by rejecting the very concept of sin itself. For instance, some take the 'abomination' of gay marriage and present this sacrilege to God, in God's house, as being blessed and holy.These Churches have become establishments for politics and not God. Researchers say that some of the most liberal Churches, bastions of Christianity like the Episcopal Church, will die out in twent years.

Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

We quote the first part all the time, but what about the part about "losing your saltiness" This verse makes it clear that the Lord Jesus made His believers, His church "salt" and that if they lose their saltiness they are good for nothing but to be cast out. Many churches have "lost their saltiness". They decide this verse and that verse are not applicable. They are throwing out verses from the Bible about Pastors being the husband of one wife, or about the works of the flesh, or about sin. They are throwing out the "salty verses" and as a result they have lost their saltiness. They try to claim that this is what a loving Jesus would do who desires all to be saved, but this verse makes it clear, no one would want salt that has lost its saltiness and Jesus wants us to be salt.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

These are FreeMason churches. Jesuits will put money into a church so they can control what they say. For example, they may say you can talk about anything but the rapture. That sounds like a good deal, but then as all the signs and prophecies of the Lord's return are taking place and people are coming to hear what the Pastor will say, will he shed any light on this, no, the light is covered up with the offering basket.

Churches like the Episcopal denomination are among the worst offenders at leaving Christian teaching for liberal politics of the day. They have been around for hundreds of years. Do you have any proof that the Freemasons or the Jesuits inflitrated their church.

Personally, I believe that it wasn't the Freemasons nor the Jesuits that led these liberal churches to leave Christian teaching. I beleive it was their own decision to leave in order to support liberal/political/idealogy of the day.

We all like to point the finger of blame at others for our abandoning of the Christian faith and traditions. However, I disagree with you, it's not the Freemasons nor the Jesuits who are subverting our churches. It's the leadership of these liberal churches who've left Jesus and His teachings, no need to look any further than ourselves, we are guilty.

We all like to point the finger of blame at others for our abandoning of the Christian faith and traditions. However, I disagree with you, it's not the Freemasons nor the Jesuits who are subverting our churches.

There are two very different paths the church take to fail. If the church forsakes its saltiness to be more agreeable, or embracing of the world then they become tasteless and are good for nothing but to be tossed in the garbage. That is what we are seeing with the established denominations like the Episcopalians.

However, we are also seeing huge mega churches that are not withering up and dying. They are packed out like a broadway play. They have a large theater like building with two or three meetings on Sunday. They have a huge presence online, their pastors live in mansions, drive luxury cars and have private planes. That is a very different way in which they fail.

Neither way is putting the blame on Jesuits. In both cases Jesus is saying that it is illogical.

The Episcopalians and these other large denominations embrace ecumenism and try to sell it as the Christian thing to do, but as the Lord says that doesn't make sense. We are salt and yet they think the Christian thing to do is to abandon our saltiness. The Lord makes it clear, if the salt has lost its saltiness it is worthless, and that is what we see with these big denominations. They are worthless.

But the other side is some pastor or preacher may think that the money will help them spread the word. If they have a big building, if they can afford a larger staff, if they have a great crew who can produce online content, then they think that will cause their light to shine even further. However, the money comes with strings attached, you can't speak about the rapture. OK, that sounds like a small price to pay until you realize that a fourth of the Bible talks about the end of the age. And then you find out you can't refer to any current events fulfilling prophecy. So that money is actually a bucket being put over the light. Again, that doesn't make sense, the Lord said we are a light set on a table or on a hill, no one would do that and then put a bucket over that light.

So I get it this thread is only talking about the large denominations that are drying up and withering away. However, the verse about salt is connected to the verse about the light and I prefer the Lord's wisdom on this. Today we are seeing both. We see membership of these large denominations withering away but at the same time we are seeing huge mega churches preaching the prosperity gospel, having big rock bands handle their worship, and no longer teaching on sin, rather as long as you said a few magic words twenty years ago you don't have to worry about sin. That is FreeMason teaching and FreeMason money.

It's the leadership of these liberal churches who've left Jesus and His teachings, no need to look any further than ourselves, we are guilty.

I am not in the leadership of any of these large denominations. I have been serving and ministering for forty years, but the Lord has made it clear to me, I don't take a dime from anyone because I am not willing to let anyone other than the Lord have a say in what I can and cannot say. My guide is the Bible.

Also I speak from the entire Bible, I don't cut out any verses and the minute I hear that from anyone I put them on my "do not call list."

So I am happy to confess and repent of my sins and anything that I have done that would offend my conscience. But abandoning the Christian faith is not one of them.

However, I may be guilty of abandoning the Christian traditions, don't know what you are referring to there. I have nothing to do with Christmas, I have nothing to do with Easter, and I don't bother with derivative teachings. Anything with an "ism" after it is a derivative teaching.
