[TD="colspan: 3, align: left"]What laws was God referring to when He said, “I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts”? He was certainly not referring to the Ten Commandments, known as the laws of the old covenant, since He said that He found fault with that covenant and declared it obsolete. (Hebrews 8:7–9, 13)

The laws that God puts in our minds and writes on our hearts refer to the royal law of love (Matthew 22:37–40), the perfect law of liberty (James 1:25) and the law of faith. (Romans 3:27) These are the laws of the new covenant.

You live according to the laws of the new covenant when you are conscious of how much God loves you. And the more you are conscious of His love for you, the more your heart is filled with love.

When that happens, you will love God and the people around you supernaturally and effortlessly. That is God writing on your heart the royal law of love—that we love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

Secondly, when you know that you are perfectly accepted by God because of Jesus’ sacrifice, you can have the courage and liberty as a child of God to come boldly into the presence of your heavenly Father. And in His presence, He is able to write on your heart new desires. You will find yourself wanting to do the right thing at the right time. You will live life victoriously from the inside out. This is the perfect law of liberty operating in your life.

Thirdly, when you sense what God is writing on your heart and putting in your mind, and as your faith is activated causing you to trust Him and His love for you, He calls it obeying the law of faith. When that happens, whatever you believe, you receive!

My friend, God has made it easy—and you will find that it is exciting—to live life under the new covenant!

Have you heard the one about how God is recording everything you say and do, and on Judgment Day he’ll show all your dark, dirty secrets on a big TV screen? It’s a frightening thought—but it’s a fiction.
God is not like that. God is love, and love keeps no record of wrongs. Not a diary, not a videotape, nothing. If he’s making a movie of your life, it’s a highlight reel, not a horror flick.
God keeps no videotapes, but we may have quite the collection. They play in the dark cinema of our minds rehashing our regrets, broadcasting our bitter memories, and showing our secret shame.
The dirty tapes of our lives cripple us. They suck the color out of our days and the sleep out of our nights. They keep us from entering the house of grace and enjoying the banquet of God’s favor.
“I cannot come in,” we say. “I’ve done some bad stuff.” And God replies, “I hold nothing against you.”
“But haven’t you seen what I did?” And God replies, “Haven’t you seen what Jesus did?”
Your videotapes don’t belong to you. Jesus purchased them with his blood. If they start playing in your head, change the channel. Look to Christ who is the star of a better movie.
“Happy are those whose wrongs are forgiven, whose sins are pardoned! Happy is the person whose sins the Lord will not keep account of!” (Romans 4:7–8, GNB)

Got this in my email this morning and wanted to share it. When I was a young Christian I was told
that there were going to be recordings of all the sins we committed and everyone would see.
It was a great day to find out that this and many other teachings we were taught were not from
the Bible.

It was such a scary thought to imagine it all up on some huge screen like at a drive in movie. All the shame and humiliation un hidden and brought out to be seen by the 3 Persons of the Godhead - God the Father., God the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Then alllll the believers who ever lived including allll the Old Testament saints like David and Abraham and Mosses and all the others up until now., And all the angels.

That as far as the time it would take to do this goes, it would not be an issue since there was no "time" in heaven like here on earth., so allllll of it would be shown and then other peoples videos or DVDs or VHSs would be shown. (and IMAX)

And the Bible verse used was "be sure your sin will find you out"

For the saints that are saved, and have no sins on their record, there is no video to show for their sins have been removed, but their works will be judged how they labored for the kingdom of God.

For the world it could be their mind is like a recorder, and everything they done is already on their mind,so it can be brought up,and they cannot weasel out of their sins, and say,I did nothing wrong, after the fact.

What laws was God referring to when He said, “I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts”? He was certainly not referring to the Ten Commandments,

Matthew 5:18-19

[SUP]18 [/SUP]For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

[SUP]19 [/SUP]Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

It is actually Satan who tapes the video with his memory capacity.

Revelation 12:10 (NIV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.

I am dead to the Law through the body of Christ that I might be married to another. Pity about you!!

The law is established to condemn those in unbelief. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus...

For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

Psalm 19:7
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

Isaiah 8:16
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

Isaiah 8:20
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Yes, we are back there, to where those who are born again
of the Holy Spirit of God are walking after the Spirit.

A slight issue I have with this post, is that the reference to the New Covenant was first given in Jeremiah 31, before the Law of love in Matthew 22. While the New Covenant certainly talks about God's love relationship with man and vice versa, the "law" referenced is just as much the Mosaic as the Law of Love.

Other than that, some very good stuff in here.

Yep full circle of Truth--->>>
1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

I thought the first reference to the new covenant through Jesus was given in Genesis 3:15. "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."

Full circle of truth... so you never sin?

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

That is why I believe it is so important to identify what the true unremitting ongoing unrepentant sin is: unbelief. Those indwelt with the Holy Spirit of God do not commit that unforgivable sin.

I was making that very same point to you in another thread
when you came at me with a whole slew of false accusations.
