In the battle between projectile weapons and swords, I typically choose projectile weapons. My ancestors were Welsh archers who humiliated Knights in shining armor. So yeah, I'll take a TOS era blaster, my genetic proclivity toward harming/killing things from a distance, and the element of surprise to school me some Jedis.

Klingon Bat'leths are pretty solid though.

Oh Scifi. I like prettymuch all of it except for Avatar. I mean seriously, Dave Cameron? You take my favorite element of Aliens (ie the Colonial Marines), make them the antagonists, and do not have the decency to end the movie with engulfing the world in a thermonuclear explosion? I'm disgusted.
I think you meant James Cameron, not Dave. (sorry, just my inner sci-fi geek ocd's) lol

I don't know. There's something almost sacred about the lightsabre. I'm going with that one. In truth, I've never cared for Star Trek.

Interesting thing a guy said, "Star Wars is Dirty Dancing for men."

Hahahaha, can't believe I made that mistake. If it's any consolation, I really don't like most of the stuff he's done...that probably rubbed salt in the wound.

Startrek and Star Wars are fine, but, any Browncoats around these parts?

i really like star trek expecually star trek tng and voyager. my fav people on the next generation would have to be lt worf because he's strong and brutal but has a soft side..ish and capt picard because even in the face of dangers he is determined to do the best he can to do the right thing. on voyager my fav person is janeway because she is smart and sense able but still adventures

I have watched some Star Wars movies, but not really a Star Wars fan, a Star Trek fan more like it. For me, it is more intellectual, questions about morals, and other things. While seeing lightsabers flashing against both parties is cool, I am a Star Trek fan. But you can love Star Trek and Star Wars, have nothing against those who have that opinion. I don't just like Star Trek though I like Andromeda, Stargate, Farscape, and some other shows that are not science fiction at all. God bless.

I enjoy all things Sci-fi/fantasy.. So I'll take a lightsaber, a phaser, a Tesla, MacLeod's Sword, a Bat-a-rang, and Mal's pistol. That oughta do it...at least til I think of some more...

A crysknife and the weirding way should be able to topple any Jedi. Add a few worm riders and it would be game, set, match.
