Do you think it's okay for Wives to wear Lingerie?

I understand being paranoid. I'm the same way even more so on something like this.
I know I don't know the bible fully but I don't ever recall reading anything against it. (If I'm wrong anyone is free to show me. Id appreciate it)
If you don't find a answer then you should seek the lord about it.
But I truly don't feel it's wrong as long as it's for a woman's husbands eyes alone.

David, brother, perhaps the sense of paranoia you are feeling is being leery of fleshly desires and the things of this world, and that is highly commendable.

But buddy, if God gave this woman to you to be your wife, then I'd say she's your wife. As long as you gaze upon her in love and not mere lust, I do not see how it would matter what either one of you are wearing.

Thank you for the kind words :D I just get scared to let my guard down. Its good to know on this topic I can. But thank you for the advice and of course its not mere lust :) but I wont lie, I do like the way my fiance looks :D.

Dude of course! If you love someone, they will be beautiful to you. Our best model of love is Jesus I think, and what's more beautiful than He?

If not it could cause you to lust after another. So by all means love that way she looks!
Oh and make sure you tell her everyday. Women love it trust me.

So in other words, people should remain ignorant if they hit a certain point in their life. Its suppressive mentality coming from Christians where a person can't ask a simple question because it may be sexual in nature that encourages ignorance, which leads to bad choices. It was a legitimate question. If you have that much of an issue, then perhaps the problem is yours, not everyone elses. You're the one making a request for information into a perverse idea. That's very telling of how your own mind works.

Leaving aside what you like to infer, I would just refer to Philippians 4.8 and leave it there.
 
I see nothing wrong in your wife wearing lingerie to be sexy for you. Song of Solomon is a book in the bible that talks about erotic feelings towards a wife.
 
And as faroukfarouk mentioned Philippians 4:8 and that would include what you do in privacy together with your wife.
 
What do you consider to be Lingere? All womens underware is catogrised as Lingere, well in UK it is. Nothing wrong with wearing any of it. In fact it helps to create a brilliant relationship if man is allowed to buy his wife whatever underwear he fancies and she parades around in front of him in it or wears it out for a date with him knowing what she has or has not got on! Of course it works both ways as well, although with men we are limited for choice!

Yeah I've never really been of the mind that sodomy is an issue for married couples. your mileage may vary, but generally as long as both partners are okay with it then its cool. I mean outside of additional people or underage stuff, i cant really think of many things that would be wrong within a marriage.

I'm pretty sure that as long as clothing has existed, there have been articles of clothing or ways to wear them that were designed to be sensual in nature.

When you say "lingerie" this means "undergarments" or "nightclothes" - so yes it is OK for a wife to wear undergarments and nightclothes. If you mean is it ok for a wife to wear sexy things that only her husband will see - to be romantic - it is also OK for her to do this.

When a man and woman are married - it is certainly fine for a wife to wear lingerie in front of her husband. It is also ok for a husband to see his wife "in the buff".

The fact that sex is so enjoyable is a gift from God. It's not evil at all. He just put a couple of restrictions on it.
