So, a few issues have taken place numerous times for me on CC today and just want to bring to @RoboOp attention, and see if anyone else is experiencing the same or similar stuff.

Multiple times today I have tried to log in and this pops up (or have been logged in, but page freezes or won't allow me to do anything so I refresh and get)

And when I was in a thread and trying to click a members name to view their profile nothing was happening, so I went to the search bar, typed in the name and was given:

right after that I tried to go to click to go to the home page/forums list and my screen went dark blue but didn't load anything, then brought up the godaddy info again.

I know the site has been going through upgrades and changes, so wonder if it's related to that?

Opps, sorry. I realized one more thing, but missed the edit window.

This one also came up when I was trying to reply to someone.
(And if it makes any difference, this has all been while using my laptop, the same device which I always use here.)

I had this issue for several hours yesterday.

I tried my phone, laptop, rebooting, clearing the cache, and different browsers, but no dice.

(Wow, now people can see how desperate I am to get on CC.) 😳

The funny thing is, my other CC friends in other states were checking the forum at the same time, and they said they could access it just fine.

I figured CC just saw me as being too dangerous and was trying to keep me out! 😂😬😎

I started having problems yesterday. Tried to reload pages or click links and I just got blank pages that never opened. Oddly, I didn't have any problems in Firefox. I started using a proxy that changed my location to another state and Chrome started working again. Weird.

The first one is related to making changes on the hosting site so i'll let Roboop answer that.
The second one is related to cloudflare checking if we're humans and not bots. It's a common thing nowadays because there's a lot of spam out there so the best thing to do (especially if you write a long post) is to write it in Notepad and then paste it here.
Because if you stay static on one page for a few minutes (don't know what the timer is) then when you post your message, you will get that error because it wants to check if you're human again.
There's nothing wrong with your computer basically.

I don't think that is how you get dice... unless you are looking for virtual dice  😜

hmm, I am using Chrome, didn't think to try my other browsers.
I do recall now though that a while back there were some issues like no emojis, and some parts of site not working properly for those using Chrome.

Happy to see you back. 🥰 I hope all are well with you and yours...

I get busy doing other things (mainly writing songs and then creating the videos for them,
inserting the lyric/text boxes etc) so I did not notice either of these issues, happy to report

I totally missed out on the Go Daddy issue this time LOL. However, I notice if I navigate
away from CC even for a few seconds to look somehting up and then come right back? I am
being checked to make sure I am human. Please hold still, you will feel a slight pinch.

okay, now that I've thought about the timing, and have had it happen a couple more times, this makes sense.
Because sometimes I am on a page then get distracted and stay on it for a while while I'm in another tab doing something else, or walk away from my device. Then when I go back to the page to finish I get that message.
So, knowing such, I hit refresh on my browser and sure enough it wanted to verify I'm human then let me go right back to the page like nothing ever happened.

Yep. It's the little details that matter in technology and other areas of life usually.

The kids at silicon valley want to turn laptop into a phone too nowadays.
Because the new "Shut down" on your laptop is not really a shut down, but a sleep function. And the sleep function is not really sleep, but half asleep compared to the old days (10 years ago or more).
Because they want people to be on a constant ON with their devices. So the email flows even when your laptop is "asleep".
And in-turn you burn your device faster because the fans are running and heat the laptop especially when folks put it in bags. Because the number one enemy of hardware is heat. They think that it's shut down but the laptop is running and overheating in their bags.
So when i made a power change to the company and changed the sleep function and the shut down function to how it's supposed to be, some people complained and were like "my laptop is taking a bit longer to turn on now".
Yeah, it's taking 15 seconds longer. Why? What are you gonna do in 15 seconds? You got somewhere to go in 15 seconds? 15 seconds are saving the life of your laptop so you're not 2 weeks out without a laptop when the fans died and your CPU fried.

Anyway, sorry for the rant and geeking out too much. :D
