Logos and Rhema are both Greek terms that refer to the “Word of God,” but they have distinct meanings within Christian theology. Here’s a comparison:

Logos:

• Definition: Logos refers to the written, eternal Word of God. It represents the Bible as a whole and the universal truth of God’s message to humanity. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ is also referred to as the “Logos” or “Word” in John 1:1: “In the beginning was the Word (Logos), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
• Key Features:
• It is constant and unchanging.
• It represents God’s general revelation to humanity.
• It is foundational for Christian doctrine and the knowledge of God’s will.
• Logos can be studied, analyzed, and applied over time, as it is recorded in the scriptures.

Rhema:

• Definition: Rhema refers to the spoken or revealed Word of God. It is more personal, often seen as a specific message or revelation given by the Holy Spirit to an individual in a moment of need or decision.
• Key Features:
• It is a direct, personal word from God to a believer, often through prayer or meditation.
• Rhema is seen as God’s immediate, specific guidance for a situation, bringing clarity or instruction.
• It is not a new scripture but often brings specific verses or truths from the Bible alive for a particular person or moment.
• It is often seen as timely and relevant to the believer’s current circumstances.

Comparison:

• Scope: Logos is universal, addressing all of humanity through scripture and Jesus Christ. Rhema is more individual and specific, providing personal guidance or revelation for a particular person or moment.
• Form: Logos is the written Word, as found in the Bible. Rhema is often thought of as the spoken word, where God communicates directly to an individual.
• Purpose: Logos provides the foundation of Christian faith and doctrine. Rhema offers personal direction, encouragement, or insight, often illuminating or applying the truths of Logos in a more direct way.

I learned something new today., Just because someone in the Bible received a prophecy or a gift doesn’t mean it’ll happen to you and for you to claim even with belief. For example Peter walked on water on many true believers has tried to replicate this and died doing need so. Rhema.. , Jesus commanded Peter to walk so we can’t claim things that don’t belong even with faith. I leaned watching the late great pastor David YongGI Cho who let the largest church congregation in the world.

In everything happening here, seek for Gold Nuggets out of it all
And God will give you the Rhema of it in truth to you to rest in as you continue in trust to Gos above it all. No one can truly love by manipulating or force.
David saw, it mattered not where he went, to Hades or Heaven, God was with him always to share truth over error(s) God is with us each also waiting patiently.
A Gold Nugget from the movie "Bruce Almighty" When Bruce says to God
"How can I get anyone to love me, without taking away their free will?"
Therefore, no one can truly love if their is no free will given is there?
We get to choose God or not, our free choice given, Free, otherwise I would be a puppet if I do not gave that free choice to choose do I?

Since most people are focused on whether or not they are doing wrong or not, is a sneaky doubt put in them to do wrong, when we are freed to choose to do right without question
Food (Rhema) for thought

Heb 6: 16: KJV Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah. The Hebrew word here translated as tempt should be test. Jesus quoted this verse when he was tempted of the evil one, in Mt 4: 7: KJV Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. The Greek word translated here as tempt should also have been translated as test.

2 Cor 1: 20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
All the promises of God be they Rhema or Logos or available for us to use by faith, but not as a test. Peter had Jesus call him to him in the storm and Jesus bid him, come, making him obedient. The snake handlers who have snakes bite them to prove there faith are putting the Lord to the Test. Jesus refused the evil one's temptation of putting the Lord to the test by quoting scripture and rejecting such a thing.
So don't jump into troubled waters or have a rattlesnake bite you to prove your faith, but when you find yourself confronting such a disaster, believing in a promise from scripture may well be the only way to survive. If you don't survive and the Lord Jesus says, O ye of little faith, at least, you tried...

Rhema is more individual and specific, providing personal guidance or revelation for a particular person or moment.
Some reject that this even happens. They will say God revealing one thing to someone and
not everybody else else is unfair. Obviously they have not read major parts of the Bible.

Jesus stepped out in faith. But notice the other disciples did not, because Jesus did not want them too.

This is exactly what Pastor Cho said what the Lord reveals to you is between you and the Lord. He also calls it belly faith vs head faith as it originates from deep within.

More like saw oh men of little Faith, that old man flesh gets in the way, yet if or since I at least will not give up, I will grow up in time in not giving up on trusting God to work out my own salvation at least
Phil 1:6 the promise to carry it on from Father and Son to us all. Time to believe and not quit, never knowing how we will get through it all, yet we will, thanks to God
therefore continue and you will see new. Looking back at things gone, knowing the rest will go too. As one then will remain humble in it all, knowing they did not cause that new in them to be new in the same love and mercy given them from God in risen Son first

“1 miracle is worth more than 100 sermons”. Facts.. Pastor David. Cho every week we performed miracles at our church which is why church grew to 750,000 and we were able to save many souls and they believed.

Rhema and logos are essentially the same thing: something uttered by a living voice. There are nuances that distinguish between them, but the idea that logos is the written word and rhema is the "revealed" word is a fairly modern doctrine invented by word of faith.

Watch out for esoteric knowledge from people, that seem to know more than others, when God our Father has no respect of persons as one better than another one.
God has called us all to to believe in risen Son Jesus and see new in being born new by God Father for us to live a life of love to all, without over excitement going on. Not just those we might choose and not choose as flesh nature to this day still only does, wanting to be in charge
There are people that seem to know better than others and use that to grow their Church as if God is there doing it through them, All I am saying is ask God for the discernment and remain harmless in it, yet aware of what the flesh nature does and is doing even to our own selves wanting stuff.
I see Proverbs 23:1-7 has a lot to say, even as when Satan went to Jesus and tried to get Jesus to follow him, showing him all those kingdoms from that hight mountain
He said get thee behind me Satan. Can we see the same not to sit down at a Kings table to eat, to get noticed or a job through them. Is there Heart with you or against you, not caring for you, only themselves as said in Proverbs 23:1-7

What is better, to be given new life and be settled in thanksgiving and praise over it. Or do you got to be physically healed to go out into this world and get deceived maybe?
I knew of a person who could not walk, had to be in a wheelchair. Who settled this within themselves, glad over it, Saw if were healed and could go out, would be in a bar and promiscuous. I thought wow. woe is me, what insight
Taught me a lot then and there.
As well, one time Jesus said to the crowd, the reason they were all there, most anyway. To be healed physically and fed physically. Most did not care about new life offered them. Think that be be the same today? God knows, I know where I have been and do not want to ever be there again. Thanks

If you were if you were blind, and you could see, would you not believe after being healed?
And if you witness healing, would you also not believe?
And when Lazarus was raised from the dead, great number saw and believed.

how about here ?

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if jesus wasn’t tempted in the same way we all are then he didn’t overcome anything and him being without sin wouldn’t mean anything. Truthfully Jesus faced the exact same feelings and temptations of the flesh that we All do when tempted , the difference is that he never sinned when tempted he stood the test of temptations in our flesh and overcame our deficiencies

Yes there and also in Jam 1: 13: Let no man say when he is TEMPTED, I am TEMPTED of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither TEMPTETH he any man: And here again in 1 Cor 10: 13: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be TEMPTED above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

agreed, today now presently, the enemies of God are duplicating God as if God is leading them! You think evil will not or does not masquerade?
2 Corinthians 11:14
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
be wise, ask God his kids will know

Matthew 10:16-20

New International Version

16 “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. 17 Be on your guard; you will be handed over to the local councils and be flogged in the synagogues. 18 On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles.19 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, 20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
