I was very lonely as a child. Something always seemed to restrain me from speaking to other people, mainly because I was shy. I treasured every friend as I had few friends.

Somehow I made a huge mistake, which brought hurt to me. Somehow, God placed my friends and I in a same boat. I caused such a huge mistake, it brought down the reputation of my class. If you think it was some small mistake,you are wrong. I risked the life of my close friend who was on the same boat as me. If I really had died that day, my class would have to be blamed.

The mean things they said was a sharp knife which cuts deep into you. They gossiped behind me and I lost my close friends .No one was talking to me. I felt as if I was isolated on an island all alone with no one to care for me.

One day, before church service, I asked God if I could have a friend. I definitely did not take the prayer seriously , or even believed it. Straight after that, I watched a video on Cyber bullying. Even though, I was not being bullied on cyber space, the boy in the video looked frustrated.But, I knew I felt the same way as he did. Hurt and lonely. The preacher said we may not have any friends we can rely on or trust, but

God always cared about me.
He was a friend who I could rely on forever.
I could trust in him in every situation.

I was too shock for words.

Suddenly, he preacher started singing ' What a friend we have in Jesus'. I cried and I was touched. God had answered my prayer. He made me realise that He was someone who I can always stand by and trust even if it was my darkest time. I had forgotten that I had an unfailing friend. I know Jesus is my best friend. A friend who will never leave or abandon me.

God has belssed me with a new group of friends. Some of them are christians and I enjoy every momentbeing with them

This is my testimony and I hope that in some way this testimony would have impacted you.Just remeber, Jesus is more than a savior, He is a friend who you can trust and He will carry you through.

If you see anyone who is shy, quiet or look lonely, just say a "hi" :) . One small action like this can brighten up someone! :D

i can definitely relate to this though somewhat differently. I have friends beyond my ten fingers but i dont really have friends. I've been surrounded by people my whole life but i've still felt that loneliness you were talking about. Even before i dedicated my life to Jesus i believed and no one else i knew did. Jesus is my best friend and one of my only true ones. one of the best things i think he does for me is listen. His love is incredible and so are his blessings. He walks with me everywhere i go, gives me wisdom, teaches me, keeps me, protects and heals me. but he also gave me the only thing i ever wanted. and that was someone who would listen. may God bless you too.

Your testimoney is awsome. I lost my husband 2months ago and he was my best friend. He has been sick for a long time. I had depended on God for some of my needs but I never depended on him completely, so when my husband passed a way the question was God who have I got to help me? His response was that I have always depended on other people but I never really depended on him. He said I will take care of you just as I have in the pass, but You have to trust and depended on me. When he told me that I just cried and today I have no worries I will not let Satan even carry me to that place where I worry. God has meet every on of my needs. My husbands funeral expense was $10950.00 in which the insurance company would not pay the $10000.00 life insurance we had, but God has touched peoples hearts and today I only owe $3200.00 give God the Praise!

This testimony is beautiful and so close to my heart.
I have completely devoted myself to God, my savior and now my best friend.
I had to leave my best friend behind and my other friends out in the world. They don't understand my life changing decision and I don't expect them to since they are spiritually dead. I miss them so much I am still human but every night and every new morning when I fall asleep or wake up, I know Jesus is there watching me fall asleep and watching me rise when I awake. I'm never alone. He comforts me and tells me not to be scared because he keeps his promises and he has promised to NEVER leave us alone but always be with us to comfort us. Now, I just pray for my best friend's soul, so one day God can save her from her depression and for my other friends chains to be broken. I have faith in God that will happen one day. :)
