I have been diagnosed with a case of anemia. I prefer to keep my identity private. The doctor doesn't know what caused it and its not contageous. I never had trouble meeting men and many people find me attractive of beautiful but I am insecure because I will have a transplant. My hair will fall out and I will be alone for another year. The doctor said a boyfriend isn't a good idea but I've been alive since my x left me a over a year ago. I have a
 
What kind of a transplant does one have for anemia? It must be a fairly rare type of anemia, as most people I've known with anemia just take medications for it.

(I'm just a genuinely curious person. I like learning.)

That's why I asked, Shouryu. Generalized anemia can be severe, but medications can handle it. Aplastic Anemia takes a transplant because it effects bone marrow and stem cells. However, it's not uncommon for someone to become anemic after a renal or hepatic transplant, but I would think she was referring to needing a transplant FOR anemia.
