And God commanded Israel to remember this holy day.

Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

AS GOD DID FROM HIS...

we are told to cease from our labour as God did from His.

Keep like God did.
Again, did he command you to rest every seven days or did he command Israel? I want to reiterate my earlier point. The fourth Commandment contains two features that are typically blurred together: A. The Seventh Day of Creation and B. The weekly day of rest. All of humanity is to learn and remember A. Not all of humanity is required to commemorate A. with B.

you have to do what Jesus commanded that is absolutely certain, and what did he command?

"if you want to enter into life keep the Commandments."

That means all of them, Jesus kept all of them, after his resurrection he DID send the disciples to all the world to preach all he did and said.

The claim that the Sabbath was only an Old Covenant institution fails when Scripture's timeline is examined. The Sabbath was not introduced at Sinai. It appears before Israel existed as a nation...Genesis 2:2–3 states: "God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done." The Sabbath is rooted in creation itself, not merely the Mosaic covenant...Then, when the Ten Commandments were given, the 4th commandment does not say "create a new Sabbath." It says: "REMEMBER the Sabbath day by keeping it holy." — Exodus 20:8 To remember something means it was already established and known...The commandment connects directly back to creation: "For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth... but He rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy." — Exodus 20:11...So the biblical sequence is: Creation → Sabbath established → Israel commanded to remember → Sabbath observed. The question is not whether the Sabbath existed under the Old Covenant. It clearly did...The question is whether something established by God at creation and included in the moral law is abolished simply because the Old Covenant reached fulfillment. To also note that marriage as well was also included in the mosaic laws and establish in the days of creation but yet we do not say that marriage is fullfilled. We cant be isolating the Sabbath alone. Jesus said: "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." — Mark 2:27...Notice He did not say the Sabbath was made only for Israel. The foundation of the Sabbath is creation, the command is remembrance, and its purpose predates Sinai. In the book of Revelations 1:10 “I was in the spirit in the Lord’s day” Jesus said he is Lord over the sabbath day and John is busy addressing Jesus himself when he is talking about his experience on the Lord’s day, the Lord’s day is the day Jesus is Lord over which as he said is the sabbath day thus the Lord’s day is Sabbath.

One of the Bible’s premiere disciplines is keeping the law for the weekly Sabbath (Exodus 20:8-11). Other than the law to observe Passover, this is the most often repeated law in the Bible. Observing the Sabbath the way the Bible directs helps create a humble, vulnerable and open spirit where we can experience God’s guidance. If you turn from doing your pleasure on My holy day and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy of the Lord, and honor God by not doing your own ways or pleasures or words, I will bless you, Isaiah perceived God saying (Isaiah 58:13-14).

It is in keeping the weekly Sabbath as the Bible directs – preparing (all natural, Bible defined) food in advance, arranging to not have distractions, giving an offering to God, praising God in song and music, reading God’s word, meditating, resting (for at least 25 hours) and humbling ourselves to be open and vulnerable in repentance and expectation to our Heavenly Father’s guidance and nudges – that we participate in the way of approach designed for us to show respect and love to our Heavenly Father and to sharpen our ability to understand God’s communications to us.

God told Moses to tell the Israelites to keep the Sabbath loyally for all generations because it is a sign between God and His people (Exodus 31:12-13, 17). It is also a signal to our own soul that we are seeking spiritually. If you haven’t been keeping the whole seventh day Sabbath the way the Bible directs, this is a delightful experiment. Presuming that you already keep the rest of the Ten Commandments, keep the Sabbath laws for four consecutive weeks and keep a daily journal during that time. At the end, re-read your journal and see if you can discern the Spirit of God working in your life during those weeks.

Jesus surely knew the value of the Sabbath. The Sabbath healings God led him to were a test for the Jews, because it was God Who was doing works through Jesus (John 5:16-17, 14:10-11). Jesus was not working. If they had understood Jesus’ teachings about the intentions of the laws, and if they had sought God’s guidance, they would have passed the test. Jesus said, pray that you don’t have to flee in the winter or on a Sabbath after the destruction of the Temple (Matthew 24:20). He knew the power of this one day a week when we set ourselves apart from the world to be still and perceive God’s guidance to us.

In Leviticus 26:33-35, 43 God warned that Israel would be destroyed if it didn’t keep the Sabbath. In 2 Chronicles 36:20-21 it is reported that that is what happened. God told Jeremiah that the country would lie desolate 70 years until it paid off its Sabbatical Years debt (2 Chronicles 36:20-21). (The sabbatical year is a year when the land is supposed to rest. It is every seventh year in the seven year cycle. See Leviticus 25:1-7; Exodus 23:10-11; Deuteronomy 31:10-13).

The Sabbath is part of God’s design so we can always find our way back to our Heavenly Father, no matter how far away we stray. It is built into this solar system’s rhythm, and into our rhythm. The moon, with its life giving tensions, keeps a rhythm of four quarters of roughly seven days each. When we prepare with honesty and humbly submit to this discipline that God has prepared for us, we align ourselves with this natural rhythm and find it easier to perceive guidance from God.

what's your recommendation on Saturday practice?

I understand that encounter a bit differently. The young man wanted to know how to get eternal life. Jesus said to keep the commandments. The young man said that he was already keeping the commandments. Then Jesus told him to sell all of his possessions and give it to the poor.

Did you notice? First, Jesus said to keep the commandments. Then Jesus added, "sell all your possessions." I took that as Jesus' way of telling the young man that Jesus could multiply things that the young man might DO to earn eternal life. The point is, there isn't anything that we can do to earn eternal life. It's not about what we do; it's about who we are. Am I the kind of person who would sell all his possessions to follow Jesus if he asked me to do that?

Of course you do, all who refuse to keep the commandments do try very hard to find a way out. whatever the young rich ruler said NEVER changed what Jesus said: "If you will enter into life keep the commandments." obey Jesus or not if a choice we all have to make just make the right one.

why do you still reject what Jesus out Lord said, the young ruler refusal changes nothing of what Jesus said. Jesus told us clearly what one must to to enter into life.

The
Because I'm promoting obedience, does that mean I'm worshiping obedience rather then Jesus. ???

Obedience is the highest and most genuine form of worship we can offer to our Creator.
True worship is not merely an outward ceremony or the speaking of beautiful words; it is the submission of the heart and the alignment of our lives with the divine will.

I'm promoting the decalog which as God's divine will.

Notice the connection between worshiping and serving.
Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

"Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams" 1 Samuel 15:22

"Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man" Ecclesiastes 12:13.

(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. Romans 2:13.

1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

The reason I'm asking people to consider the true sabbath is because Sunday is a tradition of men. Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

So your worship isn't in vain.
The Devine Spirit of Worship is exactly what Jesus All he Did ,For those to worship in Spirit by The Holy Spirit beholding Jesus words again
Woman, believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem... Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks."
Seek more and see neither buildings etc.
Know also The Parah red heifer parah was made to ash to cleanse This is what the clean high priest used to clean others so they can sabbath. The high priest Himself became unclean ,And Heat could never rest as to a command. Even as high priest .
Well if you look at Jesus as the Highest Priest no also a he fulfilled the Red Heifer ceremony parah. He made everybody clean and made sure they were clean and he has seated now high priest fulfilling the Sabbath made for man. It's about as simple as can be put .

Yeah unless a person forsakes the Lord causing the Lord to forsake them:

2 Timothy 2:12 - If we deny Him, He also will deny us

1 Timothy 4:1,2 - Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron

Hebrews 3:12 - Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Romans 11:21,22 - For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

2 Peter 2:20 (Companion Scripture - Matthew 12:43-45)
For if after they have escaped the pollution of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

The young man thought he was keeping the commandments, but Jesus needed to help him see that he wasn't.

Sell all you have and follow me..

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Choosing between Jesus and money.

He couldn't surrender the money because it was a greater god then Jesus.

The 10 are broader then most realize.

Well that would be dumb

Jesus told the young ruler the truth.

Live with it or reject it,.
What does that mean live with it or rejected that's not really nice plus you most likely misunderstood it. trust no man can speak solid truth so don't be so puffy you're the one who asked me with it

I agree that faith is a gift of God and that no sinner can come to Christ apart from God's gracious work.
Scripture is clear that we were dead in trespasses and sins, that salvation is by grace, and that God must draw sinners to Himself (Eph. 2:1-9; John 6:44).
Where I am more cautious is in moving from those explicit truths to the conclusion that regeneration must always precede faith and that saving grace is given only to a predetermined group in a way that excludes all others from any genuine opportunity to respond.
I certainly see strong passages on election and God's sovereignty, but I also see universal calls to repent and believe, and repeated appeals directed to sinners.
So while I agree entirely that faith does not originate in fallen man and that salvation belongs to the Lord, I am less convinced that the full Calvinistic system follows as a necessary conclusion from every relevant text.
To me, the clearest biblical truths are that salvation is God's work from beginning to end, that no one can boast, and that everyone who truly comes to Christ does so because God has first shown them mercy.
Beyond that, I think sincere believers may differ on the precise relationship between election, regeneration, faith, and human responsibility while remaining committed to the authority of Scripture.
Your view that "regeneration doesn't necessarily precede faith", doesn't line up with what the Bible teaches. Regeneration (being born again) logically precedes and causes faith, meaning God must sovereignly renew a person's heart before they possess the spiritual ability to believe.

According to Ephesians 2:1 humans are not just spiritually sick or wounded; they are "dead in the trespasses and sins." A physically dead person cannot perform life-giving actions. In the same way, a spiritually dead person cannot choose God, understand spiritual things, or muster up independent faith until God breathes spiritual life into them. Faith is the fruit of being made alive, not the cause of it.

If faith precedes regeneration, then faith originates from unregenerate human nature. That turns faith into a human work or an independent achievement of the human will. The Bible teaches that God gets 100% of the glory for salvation. Passages like Ephesians 2:8-9 state that salvation—including the faith to believe—is a gift of God, "not of works, lest anyone should boast". If man generates his own faith first, man has something to boast about.

In Acts 13:48 Luke notes that "as many as were appointed to eternal life believed." Notice that the appointment to life comes before the act of believing.

As we can see the Bible distinguishes between the general outward call of the Gospel (which goes out to everyone who hears a sermon) and the effectual inward call of the Holy Spirit (which changes the heart of the elect).
God commands all people everywhere to repent, Acts 17:30 and Christians should offer the Gospel freely to everyone. However, because of human rebellion, no one would ever respond positively to that offer unless the Holy Spirit first performs heart surgery—replacing the heart of stone with a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26

The following passage of scripture confirms that salvation is 100% of the Lord. Romans 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Basic knowing Jesus begotten Again the first day of week . probably Glorified the same day. I dont think Jesus Took his Heavenly seat yet tho. And I'm not sure what 40 days later was ,What Day when The High Priest did take a Seat
Past other high priests don't get to Rest on the Sabbath ! that was the flaw because of so much Uncleanliness Nation
The high priest never was able to rest or sit .
Jesus took All of Man he was and All of God He IS to the throne Seated Son of Man rest Sabbath completed. It's a whole different Creation Nation and don't forget Jesus has all the authority righteousness and judgment . If I really want to be free and know that Jesus sets you free because you're already judged righteous by him this would be the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as the seal and you're not going to worry about days over other days Or always think about sin and commandments all the time Jesus took all of man with him to the throne ,isn't he Glorified Son of Man Lord Almighty God? The Holy Spirit comes from the baptism in Jesus name alone do both water and fire that way there is no contradiction ,even in the Bible as People twist it up.
While Jesus did appear several times after His resurrection, it doesn't necessarily mean that He remained on the earth for 40 days after His resurrection. He is Almighty God, the Creator of everything that exist. As such He is not limited in any way, He could have been on earth and in heaven at the same time.

The fact that Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of a new creation and made a new covenant by His resurrection on Sunday, means that the 4th commandment (Sabbath day) was replaced by the new covenant day (Sunday). The 4th commandment still stands (work 6 days and set aside one day).

As you rightly pointed out, there's no need for vain disputes among Christians over the colander day. The reason for setting the day apart and keeping it holy is what matters.

I agree that no one comes to Christ apart from God's work. I agree that sinners are dead in trespasses and sins (Eph. 2:1), that the Father must draw (John 6:44), and that salvation belongs entirely to the Lord.
Where I am less convinced is that every passage you cited explicitly teaches that regeneration occurs before faith.
Ephesians 2 teaches that God makes us alive, but it does not explicitly lay out an order of salvation.
Acts 13:48 teaches that those appointed to eternal life believed, but it does not explicitly define the moment regeneration occurred relative to faith.
On the other hand, Scripture repeatedly connects life with believing: "whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16), and "that believing ye might have life through his name" (John 20:31).
So I fully agree that faith is impossible apart from God's grace and that no man can boast, but I am not persuaded that the Bible explicitly settles the regeneration-before-faith question in the way you claim.
The passages clearly establish God's sovereignty; the precise order is where the debate begins.
My concern is letting the text say exactly what it says, no more and no less.

The phrase "whosoever believes" (or "whoever") in John 3:16 does not teach that salvation depends on independent human free will or an open-ended potential for anyone to choose it on their own.

The Greek phrasing describes a specific group—"the believing ones". The text identifies who is saved (those who have faith), rather than asserting that every single human possesses the inherent moral ability or free will to generate that faith.

Because of total depravity, fallen human beings are naturally unable or unwilling to come to Christ on their own. Therefore, anyone who does believe does so only because God has first sovereignly chosen (elected) and effectually drawn them through the Holy Spirit (as taught in John 6:44).

"The world" in John 3:16 does not mean every single individual without exception. Instead, it signifies humanity without distinction—meaning believers are drawn from all nations, tribes, and backgrounds (Jews and Gentiles alike), rather than being limited to a single ethnic group.

Preachers are called to command all people everywhere to repent and believe, knowing that God uses this very promise as the instrument to effectually call His elect to faith.

It means live by Jesus's words. Jesus IS one with God and spoke the truth always just listen to him and do not reject what he
said, all of it is for gentiles and Jews alike, for all humanity

What you've written is a fairly standard Reformed reading of John 3:16, but I do not think John 3:16 itself says most of those things. The verse explicitly says that "God so loved the world" and that "whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
The text identifies the object of God's love as the world and the condition as believing; it does not define "world" as the elect, nor does it mention total depravity, irresistible grace, effectual calling, or election in that verse.
Those ideas must be brought in from elsewhere in the system.
Whatever conclusions one reaches from other passages, John 3:16 itself reads as a universal gospel invitation grounded in God's love for the world, with the promise that every believer will have eternal life.
My concern is that when a theological framework begins redefining simple terms like "world" and "whosoever" to mean something other than their plain sense, the system may be exerting more control over the text than the text is exerting over the system.
