Believe in Jesus.
John 6:29
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
Yes.Have YOU received the Holy Ghost since you have believed?
Can I share some scripture with you?
GOD does not hear sinners.
John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
John 3.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot (((see))) the kingdom of God.
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he (((cannot enter))) into the kingdom of God.
If your not REBORN with WATER and of SPIRIT you CANNOT SEE OR ENTER.
The first message JESUS promised to be preached.
Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Yes.
The real question is .........have you truly believed?
Have YOU received the Holy Ghost since you have believed?
Acts 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Been baptized and have seen the risen Christ. The Spirit spoke as clear as a bell, repeating over and over "blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God" as I stood there gazing upon Christ overwhelmed with joy. There is not a shadow of doubt in my mind as to whom I belong. I have walked with Him ever since, in sorrow and joy, in hardship and times of ease, under pressure and out. I am no longer who I was and soon He will call me home and the thought of seeing Him again, overwhelms me with joy once more.
Do you even bother to think about the things I have shown you?
You are quoting a verse that speaks of regeneration (birth), not baptism. Baptism is not a birth, it is an identification process. The two births in John 5:6 are physical birth and spiritual birth. Water and Spirit. No-one was baptized in the Spirit until Pentecost. Based on your reasoning, no-one up to Pentecost, could comprehend the Kingdom of God because there was no spiritual birth and no-one from Adam to the nation of Israel (Torah) could understand because there was no water birth. BAPTISM IS NOT BIRTH! You keep looking in the wrong place for understanding. John's baptism was not a baptism of birth, it was a baptism of repentance signifying they identified with the coming Messiah that John preached who would deliver a new baptism, one of real power.
Baptized in Jesus name is receiving Christ's baptism.
Answer me these two questions:
Q1. How many baptisms should you receive?
Q2. Which baptism should you receive, John's or Jesus'?
The word baptism means to be submerged or immersed. If memory serves me correctly, it comes from a root word meaning holy. It is the Spirit who makes us holy, it's why He is often referred to as the Holy Spirit. When we are baptized in the Spirit we are regenerated, filled, indwelt, given a gift, in other words, completely submerged in the death and life of Christ (Rom.6:3-4) because the Spirit takes the things of Christ and passes them on. It's His job to glorify Christ (John 16:14) and it's our job to let Him do His work in us so that Christ is glorified in us.
I was baptized in JESUS name to get rid of my sins.
JESUS filled me with his spirit and spoke in tongues and still do.
Which is EXALATY the same thing as HIS WORD SAYS.
Why would you even ask if I was baptized in Johns name?
People who was baptized in Johns name had to be rebaptized in JESUS name, Acts 19.
Sorry I have to ask, so many people say things like you get the Holy Ghost the sceond you believe
No doubt we get The Holy Spirit the moment we believe.
Being dunked in water would mean nothing then.
Many rely on being dunked in a tank and do not rely on The Lord Jesus Christ.
And He is the Holy SPIRIT . Not some "ghost."
Acts 16:31. John 3:16Is that so, prove it with HIS WORD.
Tomato, tamato.
Acts 16:31. John 3:16
What is neat when they say NO like you just did HE ASKED HOW WERE YOU BAPTIZED???
How were you?
I was baptized in JESUS name to get rid of my sins.
JESUS filled me with his spirit and spoke in tongues and still do.
Which is EXALATY the same thing as HIS WORD SAYS.
Why would you even ask if I was baptized in Johns name?
People who was baptized in Johns name had to be rebaptized in JESUS name, Acts 19.
I never asked you if you were baptized in John's name or even if you were baptized at all, I asked which baptism should we receive John's or Jesus'?
You never answered my first question of how many baptisms because in your post of #2570 you claimed there are two baptisms needed.
Would you like to try again and answer the questions I asked?
