My husband is not a saved Christian I was young when I got with him and want thinking at the time. My love and belief in God has pulled this marriage through some very rough times I'm just so tired of me hiving to constantly lift everyone up while they constantly put me down. Is always my fault and was told tonite tut I am ignorant by my son because I have helped several people in the past when we didn't have much ourselves but they cant see how God has blessed us so many times My min problem is that I live in a r negative and rude arogant household and I'm sick too I don't know if God wantsnme to stay here or go? All I know is I'm very misrable I barely hag the energy and positiveness to keep myself going let alone deal with this all the time!

Wow, I can just imagine your hardship........the apostle Paul, says if the unbelieving spouse is content to stay=with the believing one,(you) then you should basically allow it. Because you santify your household, and have no idea whether your conduct will bring them to Christ. It's the wait that must be hard though. Unless you see no hope for change, it's probably best to stick it out............Hard though. Be encouraged.

Thanks so much for your reply that scripture is what has kept me going for 25 years there has been no change at all and I'm being verbally abused all the time and controlled our house is falling apart and he wont do anything to fix it up just buries his nose in the Tv and gets high

Actually ive been confused about that cuz sometimes it tells me to keep fighting other times to move on that I'm wasting my time!

If you are confused, then the voice you hear is not the spirit of God. He is NOT the author of confusion.

See, at times we make the first mistake which is to become unequally yoked. This is your real problem. I always say it like this. If a glass could represent our lives, then imagine taking that glass and throwing it down to the ground. Let that function represent sin. god says allow your glass to remain whole. Just the way He plans it. If we do, then we can drink effectively from this glass for our lifetime. we always go against what God says, and throw down our glass. Shattering it into a million pieces. Can God repair it regardless? Absolutely, but our glasses however are never like before. We then find forgiveness for our poor choices, and expect things to be normal for us again, but the fact still remains that God is putting the pieces back together. It will take time though. We sometimes don't allow God to finish the work, because the reprocussions of our disobedience is seemingly hard to bare. This is why we were warned in the first place. God is able, but He still stands by his words. The spirit of God won't excuse you from any negative results from a situation, that you put yourself into, against his Word. Yet he is faithful and just, to get you through it. If not whole.... alive.....most often though, broken. I pray for your patience through this journey of your life. When everyone in your home is wrong, you continue to be right. blessings.

Matthew 10:15-40

New Living Translation (NLT)

15 I tell you the truth, the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah will be better off than such a town on the judgment day.
16 “Look, I am sending you out as sheep among wolves. So be as shrewd as snakes and harmless as doves. 17 But beware! For you will be handed over to the courts and will be flogged with whips in the synagogues. 18 You will stand trial before governors and kings because you are my followers. But this will be your opportunity to tell the rulers and other unbelievers about me. 19 When you are arrested, don’t worry about how to respond or what to say. God will give you the right words at the right time. 20 For it is not you who will be speaking—it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
21 “A brother will betray his brother to death, a father will betray his own child, and children will rebel against their parents and cause them to be killed. 22 And all nations will hate you because you are my followers. But everyone who endures to the end will be saved. 23 When you are persecuted in one town, flee to the next. I tell you the truth, the Son of Man will return before you have reached all the towns of Israel.
24 “Students are not greater than their teacher, and slaves are not greater than their master. 25 Students are to be like their teacher, and slaves are to be like their master. And since I, the master of the household, have been called the prince of demons, the members of my household will be called by even worse names!
26 “But don’t be afraid of those who threaten you. For the time is coming when everything that is covered will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. 27 What I tell you now in the darkness, shout abroad when daybreak comes. What I whisper in your ear, shout from the housetops for all to hear!
28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. 30 And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.
32 “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.
34 “Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword.
35 ‘I have come to set a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 Your enemies will be right in your own household!’

37 “If you love your father or mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than me, you are not worthy of being mine. 38 If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. 39 If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.
40 “Anyone who receives you receives me, and anyone who receives me receives the Father who sent me.

Praying for strength, comfort, guidance, and healing for you Heidi. Sounds like you have very hard living conditions :(

May the Spirit guide you in every aspect of your life.

I am in a similar relationship. I became a Christian last year whilst i was already in a relationship and have 4 children to her. My partner is not a Christian which is hard at times as you feel all the Joy you have is sapped from you whilst you struggle to hold your tongue and bite your lip, swallowing your pride if and when this is even possible at all seems a daily exercise at times. I have thought many times maybe i should not be here, however a broken home would not be a good witness to my children or her. You can spend more time thinking of your situation and becoming irritable that your focus is not always on the LORD. I struggle and would not dare to be a hypocrite and tell you otherwise but what i do know is that we are all brothers and sisters and sharing with each other is a good way to get good positive feed back. I have been a Christian only 1 year and may not be much encouragement to you but i am here to share with you whenever you are down. One verse that i am reminded of is

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 46:10

I prayed for assurance and the following passage was then opened up and revealed to me many times..... No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. 1:Joshua 5

Ask the LORD for assurance then watch him answer every time you read the word or hear it in Church or in anyway he chooses to reveal it to you. But be assured he will. Chat to me any time take care and GOD Bless.
