I seem to have lost the love of the things of this world and no longer worrie too much about my family . Most of my love is directed to god and the lost people idk if this is good cause before i would cyr to the lord in prayer for my love ones but now i say a simple prayer and belive god will work is this a good thing?

I kinda feel the same way. i still do pray for my family, but a lot of times when im praying/talking to God, i ask Him to help people. i want people to know God and to love Him because a lot of people dont and it hearts my heart that people dont love God like i do. its one thing to hate the content of the world and to hate the people in it. i dont hate the people, i just hate what a lot of them are doing (corrupting people and deceiving them and taking God out of them) I don't know if this helps you or not, but i hope it does sort of. God bless :)

Heb 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham,
when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance,
obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Heb 11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise,
as in a strange country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob,
the heirs with him of the same promise:

Heb 11:10 For he looked for a city
which hath foundations,
whose builder and maker is God.
