As I said recently, failing comprehension is rife in some threads, but I do so enjoy constructive discussions. Theatrical, dramatic, extreme accounts of things that aren't worth responding to are best left to Christ, that's just where they're at on their spiritual walk with Christ.
I once posted a good video on it... but you wouldn't watch it because it was about John Wimber.
Don't ever sweat our teasing about that stuff. We all screw up so badly.... and we all have been begging for an extension of the editing cutoff. It just ain't gonna happen, so we all learn that none of us can type.
I did see that after I posted what I did. I am sorry to hear of your vision problems. Do you take anything like Lutein for eye health support?

OfficerMayo, a off topic question you made me think when you said you needed a big print Bible on what Paul said in Galatians 6:11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. I wonder if he was going blind? Have you tired a Go bible? You can pick the book and chapter you want and listen to it although it doesn't go to a specific verse. Be weary of price gouging though on google lol.

He said the longer he attended Seminar, the sounder, and sounder, and sounder , and sounder, and sounder, and sounder, and sounder his doctrine became.
I am asking to which ones you specifically refer. You know, like I was in the thread about multiple wives, where a couple of guys are trying to say there is Biblical support for it, yet they cannot give any Scripture to show this support. They pretend those they do give support the morality of polygamy, whereas polygamy is only being describes and not prescribed as they would desire. So after all their shenanigans and being caught in all their lies they will pull out the Scripture where they will not suffer a woman to teach, as if I we were in church, and I was one of their wives and they had some kind of authority over me.
I don't think they payed attention to when Priscilla (in Acts) and another taught Apollos about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Priscilla being a woman.

Now you have lost me? I don't know what you got from that guy? I don't even remember what he said ...best I remember he sounded like a typical mainstream TV preacher ? Seminar has nothing to do with sound doctrine .... The term "sound" is the same word used for "healing" or "to be made whole" in many places in the gospel accounts. I agree many religious institutions has twisted the word to mean some form of dead legalism or works of the flesh.

What is "sound", to most people, is what they have been taught is sound. What John meant was the longer he was subjected to that kind of indoctrination, the further and further from God he was actually lulled and lured.... deeper and deeper into esoteric religion-ism.

Well you can base your understanding on a that guy if you want ...I have spent years and many tears to study the bible for myself ...I know what sound doctrine is ...I don't need to watch a video of a guy who claims he knows what it is not ... did he ever teach you what it is or only what its not?

No, that is one thing John never did. He just never felt there were too many things about which he could stand up and declare he knew it all, and that his mission on Earth was to enlighten the rest of us.

I read some of your post there ...I ask a pretty simple and basic question that any bible student should understand goes to the foundation of the gospel ...a simple answer would have fulfilled the biblical requirement to be ready to give a answer ... But since you avoid the issue, I will assume you cannot "answer"
