Love is a special world
Where the eyes say something
Where even silence can be heard
Where so much is said
without uttering a word
Where togetherness is bliss,
sharing is the key
Such is the special love
between you and me.


I found this somewhere along lifes dusty road. Love is indeed a special world but it is a world that requires two and I am but one. I pray you have your world of love and I pray I may yet FIND mine, in the arms of that special someone, whoever and wherever I find her.
 
I am looking forwarding to hearing about when God gives you the the helpmate that he has planned for you.
 
I know a special woman will be lucky when she and you find each other Bob. You are a very special person and I don't know if you give yourself enough credit for that.

I agree.

I imagine love (the kind pertaining to this post) can be great but I think, when you're in love, things can become difficult [if you're not sure what path/action(s) to take]. I think dealing with any kind of challenging situations can be stressful and fear inducing (fear of "ruining" the relationship, as many people call it).

Sometimes we tend to overanalyze and the worries housed in our minds become fixed parts in our relationship. I think this is why "love is better in our imaginations than it is in real life." In our imaginations, we seldom create unwanted scenarios but, from the stories I've read and heard from various sources, we also tend to create something out of nothing.

I may be wrong but this is what I've learned from observing others. But, when the love is true and godly, perhaps all is outweighed by it.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
