The perfect law that gives freedom, means that all men belong to God. We are His. He sewed us in our mothers' wombs.
Discrimination is not a trait of Jesus.
The marriage is to be in the Lord. Not the man is to be in the Lord. It's mistranslated.
If we weren't to have anything to do with 'unbelievers', then why did Jesus have prostitutes as close friends?
Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
Some people say when Paul says 'dissolve' He means for us to divorce.
Well, Jesus can't be wrong. So Paul must be mistranslated, simple.
It is God who has authority over marriage. When a man and women are joined, they become one flesh.
Divorce, is not possible in God's eyes. At least not for a person to divorce and then marry someone else.
Two people are still one flesh. It is adultery.
Similarly, what constitutes an unbeliever?
A 'Christian' who actually lives in total splendor, spends their weekends shopping buying meaningless things and being selfish, as opposed to the 'athiest' that, in their actions, do more good than the 'Christian'?
It's a very slippery slope to divide people simply by what we profess to believe.
The heart is a great teller of what a person really is.
