Jason God gives us these talents. When a Christian says "I like that I smart" they're basically saying I like that I can use my knowledge to the best of my ability to glorify God. I would like to hope things like these could be interpreted, and we don't actually have to say what we mean every single time. God gave all of us different talents and interests. I like how I have a strong love for dogs. But wait... Is that taking away from God? No. Why is that? Because God is the one that gave me a passions for dogs, and I can use that passion to work in a dog care facility if God wants me to. If He doesn't, I can always just have my own dog for a pet. Again why is that? Because God let's us to. An artist gets to show her skills in paintings and drawings. Skills that got her a full ride scholarship to college. Who was behind that? God. There is nothing wrong with liking something that is good about us. Because God is the one that makes us good. And any right Christian would be praising Him for any good thing that would happen to him and her. We don't need to spell out what we're saying in this regard, because God knows what we mean and what we think 24/7.
