My only suggestion here is for the chat window. There have been times in the past when I came to cc (the main page) and was caught off guard with people's mics, because I had my volume turned up while listening to music. It's probably not a huge deterrent to visitors, but I gather it would catch most anybody off guard; especially a first timer.

I suggest structuring it so that the chat loads with the "do not let me hear people" setting implemented when people first enter the site. Or, design it so that the volume slider is automatically adjusted - either all the way to the left, or no more than mid way - so someone on mic doesn't give a member or visitor a heart attack the moment the main page loads.

:)

P.S. Happy Thanksgiving!

I also agree, my speakers about blew while signing in to CC this morning....UGH!

maybe a room for praise&worship only

Like the Bible Study room? Despite it's name, people often head there for praise and worship, and not always specifically for Bible study (rather, if anything, debate or sharing interpretations/knowledge).
