I have conversations with people in the spirit and it's not always in a "good" spirit but, though I might lament having the conversation, I couldn't say that I've actually said nothing. And it's proven to be quite productive for me, and in some cases, the only productive conversation that is possible.

the details of which completely escape me now, but they came back to me the next day -or very soon
afterwards- and gave me the most amazing apology, even asking others on the board to let me know
in case I'd had him on ignore (which I did not), and I immediately let them know I forgave them, and
that they had gone above and beyond anything I would have or could have expected from them in the
things they said to me and their sincerity etc etc. I will never forget it, for it meant a lot to me. I came
across some of that years after the fact and was amazed all over again, and wouldn't you know it? Right
after that the person, who had been absent for some time, returned and started posting again. So it was
my great pleasure to welcome them back and let them know I had not forgotten them. Such things are rare.

I would rather the mirror break it to them privately than have to see the sudden perturbation that would result in its discovery.
This must be one of those situations where it might be cruel to be kind because I'm not sure which is which.

if we are honest and direct some men will pull out their "women are supposed to be silent" card. I asked one
(a man here who did that) once if he was going to petition Robo to have all female members silenced, you
know, made so we cannot be part of any conversations. It seemed that's what that guy would have liked.
That's a different situation entirely. To me, that is likened to someone picking their nose while engaging me in conversation and expecting me to overlook it.

We started talking about how the old forum code made a user's nick blue or pink depending on gender, and could we get that back please? (Answer: Probably not.) Then we started talking about other stuff. But nobody EVER said anything about LGBTQ (and whatever else they have tacked onto the end this week) until your post.

I say the heck, with what people that don't know God, they try to change things, that don't need to be changed, if we say it blue for boys, than its blue, and pink for girls, if they don't like it, tuff, they need to deal with it, we have to start drawing the line, we are the head not the tail, thank you, God bless,There used to be a color code for women and men.I think women had a pink color and men had blue, I was curious as to why that stopped?
