I don't know what to think. I never thought we'd have a catatonic zombie like creature as a President; but it happened, whether the election was stolen or not. Either way we had a large amount of people who are either dumb, or corrupted to the core.
With the current administration looking like it is controlled by neocons, Republicans don't stand a chance. A lot of gen Z has already gone back to the democrats because they don't know any better; and a lot of millennials are pissed off enough not to vote in protest of the Republicans being room-temperature garbage. Anything can happen at this point.

The main reason I don't debate with liberals is we both think we are right.
The problem is where we get our information from.

I still find it difficult to believe that citizens of this country will vote for someone who was born and raised in another country.
Mamdani won the election because he understood that everyone in NY was doomscrolling and he fed them the glee,Joy image instead. Now he has to produce that glee and joy or else face the short term. All the while he will try to fill the SM with the shiny new youthful image and the doom-influencers will feed the doomscrollers. Doesn't matter which side ones on in politics in 2025 it's all about the image one projects on SM. Then there's the biggest issue of how to keep feeding the image of winning on SM when most times it's not true in the real world. There's where they all fall flat after they are elected and the image they reflect on SM doesn't match their fruits. It's much easier to be a SM politician than actually filling ones shoes.
Sworn in by Bernie Sanders and with my girl AOC in attendance too I would take note. Take note of this for the democrat party topic and wider politics at play here. Big block party for the far left faction.They earned that win though, I still maintain my vote this might be the start of something good, the previous two mayors plus Cuomo's administration wrecked NYC hard, Mamdani is different sure, but he might actually drive positive change and be a real leader, one doesn't forget he had a pretty warm high profile meeting with Trump last month and showed signs of great potential. He doesn't beleive it but Jesus can use anybody even a muslim for the good, we will see then what becomes of him and how he handles some power, but don't be too quick to think he'll be too bad, compared to Cuomo I think Mamdani will actually solidly push through some positive real change, a lot of it just depends how he itneracts with Trump, which so far has been even better than anticipated so he has a real and valid shot here to be a good mayor. The old guard must be torn down and the new heroes must rise, praise Jesus.

Lol I think I said in an earlier post but relax a lil he's just the mayor lol. Granted he's the mayor of a powerful and influential city but that's also what tempers him a little bit by being part of AOC's rising faction and the greater democrat NYC clique and having a good relationship so he's connected to a team for the leftwing, and then he also has gotten along at least in the run-up to his inauguration as open to working with Trump. This is ground for a fair optimism not just wishful thhinking, at least for the start of his term we should give him a fair shot. You gotta remember the establishment atheistic and secularistic dems destroyed most the country and the world already in their ineptitude and corruption. "Take what is good and reject what is bad" is a great Bible saying. We take Mamdani's energy and some of his positive ideas, we temper them with the democrat party and also the wider political system. In this way some of his crazier ideas get refined to something that actually could work beneficially but his new young energy can shine still. Lol besides the social worker thing I noticed he did pivot a little bit in the debates and agree with Cuomo, Sliwa, and Trump to hire new officers too so it is more like things like this we should look towards. Some of his ideas were redundant like free buses but some of the sub-ideas he had are legitimately smart like purchasing and expanding more buses and trying to update the infrasturucture of the city and such. His eternal fate is his own affair as long as he genuinely serves me in trying to turn NYC around, even if he just starts the process of turning it around that itself will be a huge accomplishment with how far it has slid. Yes we will wait and see I suppose to find out the full truth of that matter, but I remain optimistic, praise Jesus.

That might've been true before 2020, but nobody is going to earn their way out of poverty with housing the way it is. The fraud and immigrant population is unprecedented. When you have working couples that don't even have kids, or a drug habit, or anything like that, and they can't afford to buy a house so they can settle down... things have gone completely retarded. They are filling up the country with foreigners and completely subsidizing them with government money.
Those observations are true but they are not only captive to the US's economy. When our wages went up and prices followed the cost of living also went up in other nations. In Europe the wages went up and so also the cost of everything followed. The value of the Euro's buying power went up to 1.177 to the US dollar(currently) so when they spend a Euro it buys 118 cents worth of goods compared to only 1.00's worth of goods if bought with the US dollar. There euro buys more than our dollar. The point I'm meaning is that the only way to get our wages and prices down is for the rest of the world to follow in it. If not places like central American nations or China where their wages did not follow the increases and are lower will end up manufacturing most of the goods(cost less for them to make it). So since the world is tied together in the inflation equation because of trade their wages have to drop along with the price they pay for goods before ours in the US can go down. If the minimum wages in the US are reduced to 5.00 an hour and the price of goods follow then if the other nations remain the same we can no longer trade with them because the price would be too expensive. Which would then mean the only nations we could afford to trade with were those who have similar wages and have similar cost. Meaning that whoever it is who fixes the economy would be faced with doing that on a global scale. Biblically Babylon's economy crumbles in one hour. It's because it's a runaway train of increases until the merchants weep and cast dust in their hair because no one buys her merchandise anymore when crumbles.
