I will be honest, living in a mansion, in paradise, with God sounds great. :)

10 times.

Would it be fair to say, heaven will be 10 times better, than anything to live for on earth? What about a thousand times better? This is what I have been thinking about lately. Can you imagine a place a thousand times better than this age?

What ever is troubling you, what ever is bringing you down, it won't be long before it's over.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Just sharing what has been on my mind.

I'm not lying when I say this, but I do have the intelligence to become very successful in life. I kept wondering why God doesn't let me become rich. God finally spoke to me, well, at least in my heart it felt.

"You would destroy yourself". lol That was my answer. I would literally destroy myself, if I was wealthy. It's true. I'm finally sobering up, but if the money kept coming in, it would of never happened.

Just count your blessings and seek God's will. That's how you get your peace. You probably already know though.

Kudos to you for "finally sobering up." .:D. Changing that one thing helps change so many others!
I counted June 8th as my original clean date, though it was in fact the last day I used in 1994.
It took me a while to figure out my clean day was really the next day LOL. Then I relapsed
eight years later (I was not a Christian yet), and over the next eight years got some good
clean time in but did not fully re-commit again until just over twelve years ago. When I saw
that verse you posted, and I checked my records where I keep all my image file urls, I was a
little surprised that I did not have a design for those verses yet. But considering the fact that
there are over thirty one thousand Bible verses... (gets out calculator) and I have only been
doing this for just over five years now, I'd have to have designed over sixteen every day to have
them all covered by now. Hee hee. I know you prefer scenic ones, but doing scenes when most
of it is going to get covered by the text seems a bit, um, can't think of the right word. One of my
faves, however, is this one. Someone who saw it said, hey, that looks a lot like your view!
Honestly when I looked at it like that I thought, oh yeah, it does, kinda! But it was not a
conscious effort on my part to make it look that way. It's all experimental...

Happy Anniversary! Looks like tomorrow is your big day.

My sobriety is like the seasons, for every season, turn, turn. lol I do see it's time to clean up. My mind is ready. You have to be ready mentally, or it won't happen. When life gets rough, I turn off the lights. lol Don't judge me! :)

I think it's great you do your Bible verse pictures, it helps you remember the verses. Right now, I'm doing the New Testament audio book in my car. For some reason, reading the Bible, makes my mind wonder. lol Dyslexia probably.

If that's your view, not to shabby.

I'm gonna do one more album of complaining, than gonna lighten up musically.

My new clean date is December 8th .:D. I last took a cake in 2019, and quite a few of my church family
showed up for that one; it was the first time in all my years of "program" that I invited people, and I did
so because it was my nine year milestone and I had never gotten that far before. It sure was a memorable
day! And also a fact that I first got clean and sober after twenty four years of drinking and drugging after
crying out to God for help; within days I was directed to NA and immediately lost the desire to use.

When covid struck, I had just gotten my diagnosis, turned sixty five, was laid off with the closures, went
through my treatments and surgeries, and was finally all healed up from all that when my boss called
me back to work part time, so I am now doing six hour days three days a week. Life is good.

You should post some of your music! I would love to hear some of it . :)
