Hello. This is my first thread, but I know that my small family needs prayer. My wife and I have been married for 15 years and were dating for 3 years prior. We have a wonderful 7 year old daughter who is very much loved. We have had a very rough few years, with many deaths in the family and much illness, and several stints in hospital for us both. It all got too much for my wife about 4 months ago, so I sent her for a holiday with her family to recharge and she didn't come home. She is telling me that she has fallen out of love and wants a divorce. I am completely flabberghasted. There is past sins of mine coming out, that I thought had been forgiven a decade ago, but are resurfacing now as important and unprocessed in my wife. She is a good, caring Christian woman, so I pray hard and frequently, believing for restoration, but know that the more prayer there is on the subject, the better off we will be.
 
That sounds strange coz I don't get how a divorce request can just come out of nowhere, it's really wierd and I think there must be another reason apart from illnesses and past sins. But either way I'll be praying for you, your wife and your daughter, may God give you the direction you need. God bless
 
Jesus shine your truth into each heart...show each person in this marriage where they have fallen short.
Show them in their minds eye how to love one another. Through your spirit may they find faith, hope and love.
Guard their daughters heart and mind in Christ...give her wisdom and insight far beyond her years...
So she will have an understanding of what is going on, fill her with Your spiritual peace.
