Wow, there is a fire that burned 85,000 acres to the South East of Dallas, a mile to the east and west of two suburban towns.
Then to the Northwest of the Dallas -- Fort Worth Metroplex has burned 90,000 acres and is still not contained.
Edouard is a large tropical depression is hitting the coast of Texas and will bring a lot of rain to parts of Texas, but for the Dallas/Forth Worth metroplex the forecast is not rain it is wind. (Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex is four cities combined as one with a population of 8 million, the fourth largest metroplex in the US).
