Verse 1. And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Verse 1. Jesus leaves the temple, his disciples catch up with him. I thank that Jesus was in one place in the temple teaching and the disciples were just in the temple. Look at all the buildings of this temple. They must have been beautiful. When I was a child we visited the missions in California and they were somethings else the grounds ect. They were built before there was heavy equipment. The same is true here. I better get back on track. 2. Jesus told them ya they look nice but there is a time coming when it will all be torn down.
This seams real easy to understand I hope I am right.
Verse 3. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Verse. 4. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
When I was in school we learned we need to understand the who what when & where. Here we have the disciples setting on the Mt. Of Olives alone with Jesus and they ask them the question we all want to know; When will all this take place
Verse 5. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
