Does anyone who is familiar with Maundy Thursday, the day during Holy Week which commemorates the last supper of the Messiah with the apostles know which part of Thursday that this took place - during the night time of the first half of Thursday, or during the daytime of the second half of Thursday?

it would have been tuesday evening, soon after sunset, not thursday, because He was crucified on a wednesday afternoon, not friday.

interestingly this year ishtar, orthodox ishtar and actual Pascha all fall on the same day - next saturday sundown to sunday sundown is Firstfruits, the day He rose

i don't think there's harm in remembering it on thursday with catholics and episcopals.

seder shouldn't be eaten before sundown because sundown is the beginning of the new day. it's a supper, not a breakfast, so in the evening - which is i think, the answer you were looking for, @rstrats :)
