Hi, not a pretty post for a first post in a Christian chat but here it is.
I am 63 and single and met a woman in christian chat room who after about 4 months of wanting to get married to me, for a christian reason which is valid in my opinion, I find the person is using a running business willing to use an illegal method to use someone for money I have told her I no longer want to meet with her.
I would very much appreciate christian counsel about this and I would like the proper christian perspective to learn to understand better of what has happened and how to deal with this from now on.
Thank you and may god bless you all his christians amen.

Generally better to meet people in person. It gives a whole new meaning to reality check.

hi, that was the next step. I think there was much more motivation behind the talk of marriage. Although the relationship would have been better for me I do not think the honesty was there and I dont think I am the person to teach a person how to be honest in business.

On line or in person is irrelevant.
But I'm not clear on what you're asking. A better understanding of how what happened? Handle it, in the future, how you did this time, cut things off.
Just learn to be leery of people eager to marry quickly. Mostly people who push it have questionable motives.
