My Lord,
I've been trying to be someone,
Under your blood pours,
I've realized my iniquity for what's created what I've become,
It's incredibly unbelievable how you forgave me for what I've done.
I give you my soul and heart,
I can't bare living with us apart,
Bring me to your light and take me from the dark.
I can't live this way,
Tell me why,
Is it too late?
Who am I?
Who do you need me to be?
Do you see me with you for eternity?
For all this time I've noticed a soul walking with me,
Even through the dark,
I've noticed something missing in my heart,
Somethings come from where the Heavens are,
Jesus, what do you see in me?
I'm still fighting for you,
Trying to get through,
But it's true...
I can't make it without you.
I've been missing something so much,
But I figured out what to ask you,
And what I've been needing is your loving touch.
Once you spoke what kept me to never fail,
Saint Matthew Chapter5 Verse 25-26 I'll never forget,
I praise you even in prison or jail,
In Heaven with the father is where my soul is set.
I wanted the powers you use,
To kill the ones I believed were fools,
But my soul was so cruel,
I was Satans tool,
You've beat me everyday, Yahweh...
I could never be as merciful as you.
You've set me free,
I always knew your love was true,
You were always there for me,
I look up to find you,
You offered me your hand...Light was all I could see.
In My Purpose-can I pursue?
What should I do?
If I only knew...
I could always be with you.
Let me prove what I can be,
I will fulfill your dreams,
In the end I fall to my knees,
For knowing all the love you gave me.
I can't stop crying,
I can't stop asking;
"Why me?"
I can't believe...
When I cried you cried with me,
When I prayed you prayed with me,
When I saw you-you saw me,
When I gave you my soul you shared your love with me,
When I said I was sorry for my sins you forgave me,
When I was ready to give up I couldn't do it while you were there watching me,
When I was ready for death you saved me from my last breath,
When I lost all things you were always there with me,
When I had a broken heart you healed it for me.
When I made you cry you still forgave me,
When I left you behind you still waited for me,
When I hated you so long you still walked with me,
When I thought no one cared you still watched over me,
When I took Lucifer's side to fight you- you wouldn't hurt me,
When I went with the world against you- you still trusted me,
When I made you bleed you still lived for me,
When we made you suffer everyday you still gave us your mercy.
If you were me and I was you,
If you were like me,
I couldn't do what you do...
I couldn't be as Merciful As You.
