So I'm embarking to reach the foundational roots of my faith... To increase my faith in Christ from a Jewish perspective. There's a lot of information and it scares me a bit. But I need prayer... That God be with me during this journey and that He helps me go through with it with much discernment... I'm definitely gonna need take this with a lot of discernment... So I could really use some prayer as I step into the wilderness here.
 
The messianic movement will not "increase" your faith. Besides, it has its own shortcomings. Seek Jesus, study His word, fellowship, pray, and as you grow spiritually and your faith is tested your faith will increase

Lord, please don't let him learn the Bible from a Jewish slant. Teach him your Bible from a Biblical slant.

Testing "Messianic" Ministries
 
I met a few Messianic Jews while attending a Promise Keepers convention in Washington, D.C. What an awesome experience to hear them speak and share their Christianity! Knowing the cultural background of JESUS helps me understand the world that HE chose to walk into. I see the label "Messianic" as a man-made title that simply means "A Jew (whether by birth or choice) that sees JESUS CHRIST as the Completion. In other words, Messianics have come full circle, spiritually speaking. They understand why the veil of the HOLY OF HOLLIES in their Jewish temple, was torn from the top to the bottom.

My prayer for you

I can only say from the heart....
This is true
People that are non believers have asked me
"Why do you trust in Jesus?"

My honest answer always is....
"Believe me I would not love and praise a God that I didn't know for a fact is true!"
