I just gave them to you, right there! Lyrics I made up. XD
Okay, so I started this new story. It's really strange and I'm not sure what to think of it.
The first "Christian Contemporary" story I guess you could call it, that I have written. Or, rather, am in the process of doing so.
Here is a glimpse of how unusual it is...
"Howard Bartholomew Lions stood outside the church building one Sunday afternoon..."
"'Daydreaming, again?' she inquired. A mischievous hint in her eyes."
"Her name was Kess Ada Jinks. She was sixteen. Just two years younger than Howard. The two had grown up together in a small town several hundred miles from where they were now. One year ago a hurricane wiped out their neighborhood and killed both their parents."
"...Howard was having a harder time moving on from the crisis. He'd taken to daydreams and isolation even more so than before. It was not true, however, that Kess had gotten past it herself. And likely never would..."
"...Everyone thought she hated the world. That she had lost it, and needed to be in a mental facility. But Kess knew and Howard knew, that it wasn't true. And the local psychiatrist only made things worse..."
"...In his sleep Howard was running through tall grass. It was a dream. He was running from dogs. He was running for quite some time and finally stumbled on a rock, falling flat on his face..."
"...Finally the door was open and Howard practically tromped inward...all the way to his bedroom without even closing the door. The key was lost somewhere in the process and Howard plopped on the bed, face smashing against his pillow..."
That was way too much for a glimpse. XD
